The European Commission and the European Parliament have agreed to phase out Russian gas imports by 2027, despite opposition from some EU member states that say the plan will result in higher energy costs.
According to a statement released on Wednesday, short-term contracts will end within six months, and all remaining pipeline and LNG supplies are to stop by the end of 2027. A ban on new gas transit deals with Russia takes effect on January 1, 2026, though existing agreements can continue. Pipeline imports under long-term contracts must end by September 30, 2027, with a possible short extension if storage levels require it. A suspension clause allows temporary pauses if sudden events threaten energy supplies.
"This is a good day for Europe and for our independence from Russian fossil fuels. This is how we make Europe resilient,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen told reporters on Wednesday.
Several EU states, including Hungary and Slovakia, have criticized the plan, saying it will raise prices and undermine energy security. Both countries refused to back the initiative and plan to challenge it legally, citing their landlocked geography and reliance on pipeline gas.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said Budapest cannot accept or implement the EU decision to end Russian energy imports. He called the plan unworkable for Hungary and pledged to challenge it before the EU’s top court.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the EU will become dependent “on gas that costs significantly more than Russian gas,” warning that higher energy costs will further weaken the competitiveness of EU economies and accelerate the erosion of their economic potential.
The EU has seen a surge in energy prices since it began phasing out Russian oil and gas following the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in February 2022. Supply disruptions have pushed up industrial costs. Moscow says Western nations are harming their own economies by opting for more expensive and less reliable alternatives.

Russia has ‘no limits’ on sharing space technology with India – deputy PM (VIDEO)

Russia has no limits on sharing space technology and expertise with India, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov has said, outlining several areas where the country is ready to help advance India’s space program.
Speaking to RT during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s state visit to India, Manturov said Moscow is prepared to provide technology and equipment ranging from spacesuits to specialized spaceflight seats as part of its strategic partnership with New Delhi.
“It is no secret that we trained Indian cosmonauts,” Manturov told RT. “In this area, our competence allows us to share our work, and given the privileged level of strategic cooperation with India, we have no limits in this sphere on providing the scientific and technological solutions that will allow our Indian colleagues to implement their program faster.”

He said Russia and India have been exploring potential avenues for joint development in the civilian space sector, with both countries expressing interest in deeper cooperation. This includes coordinating ground infrastructure for satellites and efforts to link Russia’s GLONASS navigation system with India’s NavIC.
On crewed spaceflight, Manturov said operating in “one orbit” could lead to “joint scientific and technical experiments” and “joint expeditions.”
Manturov also stressed that space cooperation should remain separate from geopolitics. He pointed to a recent Soyuz 2 mission that included an American NASA astronaut, noting that launches alternate between US territory with Russian involvement and Baikonur with US involvement.
The International Space Station, he added, continues to serve as a shared platform where crews from the US, Canada, Japan, Europe, and Russia work together.

‘You are not even in the game’ – Russian negotiator to Merz

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has made himself irrelevant to Ukraine peace negotiations after attempting to sabotage the talks and “warmongering,” senior Russian negotiator Kirill Dmitriev has said.
Dmitriev was responding to Merz’s alleged remarks about US efforts to settle the conflict, reportedly made during a call with European peers and Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky earlier this week.
According to a transcript leaked by Der Spiegel, Merz warned Zelensky to be careful because US negotiators “are playing games” with him and his European backers. The outlet said Merz was referring to US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who visited Moscow earlier this week to discuss Washington’s peace roadmap.
“Merz accuses the Americans of ‘playing games,’” Dmitriev wrote on X on Friday. “Dear Merz, you are not even in the game. You disqualified yourself by warmongering, peace sabotage, unrealistic proposals… stubborn stupidity.” Dmitriev added that instead of inserting himself into the peace process, Merz “should work on the domestic issues he ignores,” noting that the chancellor’s approval rating has been falling.

European leaders have been scrambling for a seat at the negotiating table after being blindsided by the US drafting a peace plan without their involvement, which, according to media leaks, favors Moscow in the eyes of Kiev’s backers.
Over the past few days, they reportedly tried to pressure Washington to revise key points. The leaked German call appeared to confirm that the EU leaders feel sidelined. Finnish President Alexander Stubb reportedly said, “we’re out, but we have to get in.”
Dmitriev is not the first to argue that Kiev’s European supporters have compromised their credibility as negotiators. Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov earlier said Brussels shut itself out of the process by refusing any contact with Moscow. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov argued that Europe has no place in the talks because it still seeks to use Kiev as a proxy to defeat Russia.

According to Ushakov, the US-Russia talks in Moscow were “constructive and useful,” but the sides have yet to agree on several key issues. After being briefed on the meeting, US President Donald Trump said his team believes Moscow wants to bring the conflict to a settlement. Both sides remain tight-lipped about the details.

"Both parties agreed that real progress toward any agreement depends on Russia's readiness to show serious commitment to long-term peace, including steps toward de-escalation and cessation of killings"

⚡️ Remarks by the Ambassador of Russia to Ireland H.E. Yuriy Filatov (December 5, 2025)

✍️ It is hard to make sense of the visit to Dublin this week by Vladimir Zelensky beyond the ever present desire of the Irish government to show loyalty to the EU anti-Russian policy line on Ukraine. In fact, the visit confirmed that the Irish political leaders, much like their European partners, are unable or, most likely, unwilling to come out of their illusionary world that has nothing to do with the realities of the Ukrainian conflict, instigated and fueled by the West. Only this can explain persistent attempts by Taoiseach Micheal Martin to portray the Zelensky’s rule in Ukraine as some sort of a bulwark of democracy at the eastern flank of Europe, resisting the ‘imperial aggression’ by Russia.

❌ It takes a lot of imagination to whitewash in this way the regime which is openly ultra-nationalist, neo-Nazi and dictatorial, which eliminated every trace of democracy in Ukraine by banning opposition parties, free press, human rights, religious freedoms and fair business environment, as evidenced by the developing corruption scandal involving Zelenskiy’s right-hand man Andrey Yermak and others in the top echelon of the Ukrainian government.

That political illusion has led the Taoiseach to even more stunning revelation that it has been Ireland and Europe in general that allegedly contributed greatly to the search for peace in Ukraine, while Russia “does not show any desire for peace” – all that in the face of well-known numerous Russian peace proposals and initiatives from the Minsk Agreements to the Istanbul draft settlement, all rejected due to the collective sabotage of the West, including Ireland (not to mention that this nonsense was articulated on the same day of December 2, when President Putin spent hours with the US negotiating team working on the draft peace plan for Ukraine).

❓As if that was not proof enough of Micheal Martin’s ingenuity, he provided “cherry on the pie” touch, repeatedly using during the public events of the visit the slogan “Slava Ukraini” (“Glory to Ukraine”) – greeting of the Ukrainian paramilitary nationalist and Nazi-collaborating units infamous for killing scores of Jews, Poles and Russian POWs during World War II and which is widely used now by the Ukrainian armed forces, ultra-right movements and by Zelensky’s government itself. One is left wondering what is on the Taoiseach’s mind or that of his speechwriters, when they imitate Ukrainian Nazis’ analogue of ‘Heil Hitler’ as ‘the cry of all who believe in freedom and democracy”.

☝️ These are not casual, abstract issues – they go into the heart of the Ukrainian crisis, disclosing depth of hypocrisy of the Western political elite, which provoked the conflict in the first place and now tries to cover up the failure of their war effort in Ukraine with demagoguery.

Is there a reason why idiots like Pervert live in a parallel universe to reality?
The axis of world trade is changing fast and the morons in Washington and Brussels along with their pathetic bootlicking shills on various sites like this should really deal with it.

"If insurers refuse coverage and vessel owners decline to lease their ships into a war zone, Russia could lose access to a large share of the five hundred tankers it uses to move sanctioned oil.

Roughly half of the shadow fleet consists of foreign-owned vessels that Russia leases, meaning those ships could disappear from its logistics chain if owners pull out, a prospect that Russian economists now describe as the most severe outcome of Ukraine's maritime campaign."

And it has started.

Pervert's mate, Trump, can tariff India all he wants, but the shift is inevitable and irreversible.

Meanwhile, in the real world. :)

Hungary blocks EU joint debt plan for Ukraine – Politico

Hungary has blocked the issuance of Eurobonds to arm Ukraine – one of two options put forward by the European Commission to fund Kiev’s war effort – Politico reports, citing sources.
After the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in 2022, EU states froze around €210 billion ($245 billion) in Russian central bank assets, most of them held by Belgian-based Euroclear.
On Wednesday, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen proposed two ways to finance Ukraine: EU-level borrowing through Eurobonds – an option criticized for its immediate impact on national treasuries – or a ‘reparations loan’ tied to the frozen Russian assets, which Moscow has called theft. The commission aims to reach a deal before a December 18 summit.
According to Politico, Hungary formally ruled out the joint borrowing plan at Friday’s talks, reportedly leaving the bloc with only the ‘reparations loan’ as an option, since it only requires a qualified majority to be approved, while joint borrowing requires unanimous consent.

Budapest has not confirmed whether it vetoed the move and has not commented on the report.
Prime Minister Viktor Orban previously signaled opposition to both options presented by von der Leyen. He argued against further aid to Kiev, comparing it to trying to “help an alcoholic by sending them another crate of vodka,” while calling for diplomacy with Moscow instead of “burning” more money on Kiev’s war effort.
The European Commission has downplayed the financial and legal risks associated with the loan and has claimed that its latest proposal addresses most concerns; many member states, however, oppose the idea.
Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot warned that it could have “disastrous consequences” for his country, which would bear the brunt of Russian legal action.

Euroclear, the custodian of the assets, also criticized the loan option on Friday, calling it unpredictable and “very fragile,” and warning that it could drive foreign investors out of the eurozone.
“This initiative could have far-reaching legal, financial, and reputational risks for Euroclear, Belgium, the European Union and its financial markets” a Euroclear spokesperson told Euronews.

‘A new voice from an old friend’: RT’s India launch turns heads nationwide

RT went the extra mile ahead of its India launch with a giant Matryoshka installation, a 5D billboard, and a historic metro takeover
‘A new voice from an old friend’: RT’s India launch turns heads nationwide

When RT India flips the broadcasting switch on December 5, it won’t just be another channel launching – it will mark a milestone in how the global media sees India.
The launch has been in the works for months. Over the past two weeks, the Indian capital has become a visual runway for the brand, as well as a showcase of Russia-India friendship: Oversized billboards glowing over arterial roads, airport terminal screens looping bold taglines, and a metro campaign that stretches across the Yellow Line – one of the busiest in the capital.
The marketing blitz has generated as much curiosity as debate, turning daily commutes into reminders of an international broadcaster staking its ground.
On the Yellow Line of the metro, where office workers, students, and tourists converge in one noisy swirl, 28-year-old media student Amrita Singh paused on the crowded platform to watch a train wrapped in RT’s green and black colors pull in.
She raised her phone, capturing a quick photo before boarding. “It’s not every day you see a foreign channel take over an entire metro line,” she said with a smile.
“This seems to really bring a new voice in the media landscape,” she said, her eyes following the train as it disappeared into the station tunnel.

RT India’s arrival isn’t happening in a vacuum – it comes at a time when ties between New Delhi and Moscow are being actively renewed and coincides with the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to New Delhi for the 23rd annual India-Russia summit.
For decades, Russia has been one of India’s most consistent defense and energy partners, supplying major military hardware and discounted crude oil – often under scrutiny from Western capitals.
“India-Russia relations have demonstrated a degree of resilience despite the challenges of recent years, particularly the sustained Western censure of New Delhi’s calibrated posture on the Ukraine conflict,” Dr. Mohmad Waseem Malla, a research fellow at the International Center for Peace Studies in New Delhi, said.
He added that Indo-Russian ties remain firmly grounded, with defense cooperation serving as the principal anchor that has helped mitigate third-party pressure.
“This relationship has been susceptible to external pressures, with US President Donald Trump’s recent extra trade tariffs on New Delhi for buying Russian oil.”
In this context, RT India is being viewed as a ‘media bridge’ – a channel to amplify what people on both sides describe as shared perspectives, and perhaps to provide the Russian perspective to India’s large audience.

A senior journalist in Delhi who has worked for more than 30 years with various outlets said RT’s entry is significant at the present moment:
“India has become a global news hub now – not just because of its own stories, but because the world watches what happens here. For Russia, having RT India means being part of the huge media landscape that is shaping in Asia, with India at the heart of it. Undoubtedly, India is one of the world’s fastest-growing media markets.”
On the ground, the reaction to RT’s arrival remains mixed – but the dominant feeling is curiosity. Many locals say they don’t mind another international newsroom entering India as long as it amplifies issues that concern ordinary Indians.
“If they highlight stories of small towns, farmers, students, work stress, cost of living – they will be worth watching,” Niharika Sharma, a media researcher, said. “I have been following RT’s coverage of India for the last few years, and they have been really trying to tell the stories from all states with people at the heart of all those voices.”
Ravi Kumar, a 45-year-old taxi driver in Delhi, said he noticed RT ads on city buses but was unaware of what they meant. “If they talk real news – we need more voices than just one or two.”

Challenging the media landscape
Media analysts suggest that RT India’s arrival could reshape parts of the country’s complex media landscape. With English-language news audiences expanding and digital consumption surging, RT may find a receptive segment of viewers looking for alternative perspectives. “If they secure distribution on DTH, cable, or major digital platforms, they will be competing with the biggest players,” a media professional teaching at a Delhi university who requested anonymity said.
For Moscow, RT India is part of a wider campaign: A pivot towards the Global South and away from Europe and North America – particularly as many Western countries have banned RT broadcasts and forced the channel to shut down offices.
RT, according to local observers, has already become a respected news brand in India with its consistent coverage.
“The launch of RT India is a significant attempt by the Russian government to reclaim the popular imagination of India. Recent years have seen bilateral relations remain largely limited to government-to-government interactions, with minimal popular traction. If at all, Indo-Russian relations still carry the echoes of the Soviet era, with the people-to-people aspect taking a hit due to multiple reasons in the 1990s, including India’s economic liberalization reforms and Russia’s inward recalibration following the end of the USSR. In this context, RT India can be a potent instrument that can catalyze renewed Indo-Russian interactions, not only recuperating historical affinities but potentially elevating them to more substantive levels,” Malla said.
“In a city where media narratives swirl in scores of languages, an entrant like RT India could be a fresh voice.”

EU drowning in corruption – Orban

Brussels and Kiev are covering up for each other instead of “confronting the truth,” the Hungarian leader says

The EU is still claiming “the moral high ground” despite “drowning” in corruption, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said, accusing Brussels and Kiev of shielding each other from graft scandals.
Orban ripped into the EU leadership on Friday in an interview with Kossuth Radio, invoking the latest corruption scandal that hit the bloc earlier this week.
The European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) formally accused three high-profile suspects, including the bloc’s former foreign policy chief and EU Commission vice president, Federica Mogherini, of fraud, corruption, conflict of interest, and breaches of professional secrecy.
The Hungarian prime minister drew parallels between the affair and the string of graft scandals that has hit Ukraine, including the $100 million kickback scheme linked to Vladimir Zelensky’s inner circle. Despite the scandal, Brussels has sought to secure €135 billion ($156 billion) to prop up Kiev through the upcoming year.
The EU failed to provide a proper response to the Ukrainian corruption scandal, Orban said, accusing the bloc’s leadership of covering up for Kiev.

“The EU is drowning in corruption. Commissioners face serious charges, the Commission and the Parliament are engulfed in scandal, yet Brussels still claims the moral high ground. Corruption in Ukraine should be called out by the EU, but once again it’s the same old story: Brussels and Kiev shielding each other instead of confronting the truth,” Orban wrote on X, sharing an excerpt from the interview.
His remarks come after statements earlier this week by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, who accused the EU of being reluctant to expose Ukrainian corruption “because Brussels is also riddled with a similar corruption network.”
“No one asked the Ukrainians to account for the hundreds of billions of euros in EU aid after it was revealed that corruption at the highest state level was taking place in Ukraine,”
Szijjarto told reporters, adding that European taxpayer money ultimately ends up in “the hands of a war mafia.”
Russia has given a similar take on the EU’s willingness to continue funneling aid into Ukraine despite the repeated graft and corruption plaguing the country. Last week, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov suggested that EU officials could be benefiting from corruption in Ukraine themselves.

This is the kind of 'democracy' Perverts and freaks defend.

A major corruption scheme has been uncovered by Western-backed anti-graft agencies in Ukraine, currently rocked by a massive $100 million graft scandal linked to Vladimir Zelensky’s inner circle.
A “criminal group” led by a female MP has allegedly been uncovered by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO), who did not identify the suspect.
Multiple media reports indicated that the MP in question is opposition lawmaker Anna Skorokhod who is suspected of leading a group that extorted $250,000 from a Ukrainian businessman.
Skorokhod confirmed the searches at her properties, yet insisted that she had “nothing to hide” and suggested that the actions of the anti-graft agencies were politically motivated. The lawmaker has been a vocal critic of the Ukrainian leadership, repeatedly sounding the alarm over mounting casualties and rampant desertion within the country’s military.

“The timing and context of these events lead to unambiguous conclusions: I regard this as direct pressure on the opposition and an attempt to block my political activities because of my principled position.” Skorokhod wrote on Facebook.
Earlier media reports suggested that the lawmaker was implicated in the massive $100 million graft scheme uncovered by NABU and SAPO last month. Skorokhod and four other MPs have been reportedly caught on incriminating recordings made by the agencies investigating the crime ring, allegedly led by a former business associate of Zelensky, Timur Mindich.
The group allegedly siphoned some $100 million from state-owned nuclear power operator Energoatom, which has been heavily reliant on Western funding. It was not immediately clear whether the raid on Skorokhod was directly linked to the affair.
The scandal affected multiple high-profile individuals, leading to the downfall of Justice Minister German Galushchenko and Energy Minister Svetlana Grinchuk, as well as of Zelensky’s top aide Andrey Yermak, long believed to be the key figure in the country’s political structure and often described as the true ruler of Ukraine.
