Garron Noone, the popular Irish TikToker known for his catchphrase "Follow me, I'm delicious," has found himself at the centre of controversy after sharing his personal views on immigration, St. Patrick’s Day, and Conor McGregor. His light-hearted content, usually focused on food and humorous takes on Irish life, took a more opinionated turn — prompting backlash from critics online.

Garron, once seen as a lovable and entertaining figure on social media, faced a wave of criticism, with some accusing him of being racist despite many arguing there was nothing overtly offensive in his remarks. His comments, however, were enough to spark outrage, leading to what some are calling yet another example of cancel culture silencing those who express differing views.

In fairness it says in the article that he deactivated his accounts himself. Which presumably can be undone after the anti-racists <anti-racist is a code word for anti-white> have moved on to someone/something else.

Meanwhile, the journalisms at the Urinal have 'fact checked' McGregor 🤦‍♂️

This is the joke of it all: A fairly mainstream normie manifests some fairly normie points related to the realties of immigration, fails to really say anything 'controversial', and at all costs, insists people must never become 'racist' in an increasingly racialised and segregated society. A storm in a tea-cup, and all by design I suspect

I thought he's started out quite right wing and had disavowed it and went mainstream for the attention that would get. Had he been getting RTE or TV appearances? He struck me as a grifter guy. Fair play if it is the case as outlined above.

given time our brave progressives will have some crack addicted ho to make a r a p e allegations and he will become another 'bad man'.. toxic male just like any person in Ireland who steps outside the One Party State orthodoxy.

Was reading a bit today on Parnell and the O'Shea Divorce case. I like Parnell. But was reminded how much like a flock of sheep the Irish are. The unquestioning following of the herd. It makes the 1916 generation look like a pure miracle. Although when they all toed the line behind the Free State.. that mentality of a free people had come to an end.

Speaking of which, did you see that McGuirk is having buyer's remorse regarding Convid?

Frankly, I think that tweet by Cummins is a little generous to McGuirk, because if you read the article, McGuirk appears to still believe that Convid was an actual thing and not the flu (which magically disappeared during the Convid years)

There is a good argument to be made that anyone that promoted the jab etc should be just eliminated from any role in leadership entirely and should be consigned to oblivion
I certainly can't stand McGuirk. He's a middle class libtard (who walks the halls of Montrose freely), I can't believe anyone actually thinks that he's right-wing

If gript.ie stories were in lame stream media rags.
They actually might have a modicum of objectivity.
Actually debate a subject with facts and realities.
Rather than windy lefties ranting via an opinion piece.
And that is the media.
Windy concensus narrative polemical tossers scared of loosing their jobs because they actually reported facts.
Did I leave anything out?

Yes, the fake news media is exactly that - fake.. with journalisms afraid of losing their jobs if they don't toe the line

I just see McGuirk as part of it, with some contrarian views. If he's the face of "right-wing" journalism in Ireland (and he is) then God help us all

He's alright, but he's a fence-sitter and doesn't have any fight in him. James is correct that he isn't right wing and more akin to a shitlib. I expect him to fold like a deck chair, more than he already has. At the end of the day, most of his videos consist of piss-taking the Irish, and food. He'll be back to save his income stream in the form of some limp-dicked appeasement/retraction/clarification. He's just another vapid fat Zoomer who believes in nothing apart from his bank balance, his morality is passed through a consensus filter.

He's not a hill (although he is one) that nationalists should die on, that is until he finds some sack and refuses to back down, which given the fact he deleted a bunch of his content seems unlikely.

I don't know anything about him but someone on the radio said his well known saying is "follow me, I'm delicious". That's what passes for wit these days.

Anyway, it appears lardarse is back after his brief exile.

lol I wasn't talking about the chap who does the funny videos, I was talking about John McGuirk, who's the voice of "far-right" journalism in Ireland. He has his own media site (Gript) but he's just another establishment hack who's perfectly welcome at the state media propaganda outlet (RTE). He's also totes Zionist and has completely disavowed nationalism (or ethno-nationalism as he would have called it as if there's any other kind)

As for the chap who does the funny videos (I only see them on YouTube), yeah they're grand sure, funny, or I'll put it another way, it's decent quality paddywhack humour (I've seen a lot worse)

It's just a sort of catchphrase he says at the end of his videos

I actually posted one of his videos in Myler's Culinary thread before Paddy's day (and before he was "cancelled") -

Post in thread 'All things Culinary' https://www.sarsfieldsvirtualpub.com/threads/all-things-culinary.326/post-129142

Lots of professional content creators have a catchphrase that they say at the end of their videos

Sure doesn't our very own Val have one -

"Gimme a thumbs up or a thumbs down and we'll see you again for something else later"

Or something like that :)
