There’s a lot of noise going around today about Trump and whether he’s about to resign. He’s scheduled to make an Oval Office address at 2 p.m. ET or 7pm Irish time, and people are already jumping to conclusions about what it means.

What’s driving the rumours? Well, Trump hasn’t been seen much lately. No big appearances for almost a week, and apparently he hasn’t left Washington in over two weeks — which is unusual for him. On top of that, some photos showed him with bruised hands and swollen ankles. The White House says it’s down to circulation issues and handshakes, but that explanation hasn’t stopped people from speculating.

Then there was a social media post claiming Melania was spotted at Walter Reed hospital. Totally unconfirmed, but it added more fuel to the fire. And online it’s gone into overdrive — hashtags like #TrumpIsDead and #WhereIsTrump have been trending, with people saying everything from “he’s sick” to “he’s stepping down.”

Honestly, there’s no hard evidence he’s resigning. It could just be another one of those moments where Trump uses mystery to keep the spotlight on himself. Still, with the speech lined up for today, it’s got people talking.

If he resigns and Vance becomes President, its going to be an even bigger shitshow than at present. His entire entourage hate each other, the inflighting will be epic. You could see almost total paraysis in the Administration.

And Trump would act like some shadow President, pumping out rage-bait garbage on Truth Social.

Sorry but what's the problem? I hadn't heard anything about this so I so I googled "Trump hands and feet" and don't see much apart from some bruising. Is that it??

If Sniffer could last 4 years in his condition, then it should be a breeze for Trump.
 
In fairness at that age something could come along and take you out ! ( certainly out of action )

I always assumed that the American Deep-State / Dark-State had placed J.D. Vance there to take over when ever it suited anyway !

It will all be big guns and flashy tanks for the first six months then when Uncle Sam gets his nose bloodied again it will go silent and a quiet withdrawal will take place at some unspecified time in the future.

Could America really afford to lose a war that close to America ?

I mean that would be a pretty low fall ~ ~ Surely America has the technology to take out a load of Communists ~ ~ Many of which are not even that keen on being Communists ? !

HE has 3 names so far --- he was not born vance -but it sounds classier than his previous 2 names .

taking out people who have done you no harm nor know your name is called something is it terrorism or genocide or simple murder just to entertain yourself -- in a court of law you would be asked why did you commit mass murder -- what would you say?

I honestly don't think that the reason you gave for being banned from Gaychat was the real reason

The reason you were banned is the same reason children are banned from public places such as pubs
