Longterm Protest at IPAS centre in Rosslare Harbour Co. Wexford

52.250706, -6.340813 (The protest is manned at the back of the building, on the main road to the Ferry Terminal, near The Dock Boutique Hotel.)

For 450 days now, many residents of Rosslare Harbour have been protesting the taking over of their nursing home, formerly the Great Southern Hotel and then St Helen's Hotel, to make an IPAS, migrant, centre.

Instead of the powers that be responding to this criticism, the opposite has happened. The government is now set to create three more IPAS centres in this small town/village, including the two buildings either side of the modern long windows of the former hotel in this picture, and a further B and B up the street. In otherwords the government is creating a whole new international town out of their town, entirely without planning permission and in the teeth of fierce local opposition.

What are the numbers of protesters. Probably only a couple

Only one manning it now, but to keep a thing like that going they must have quite a healthy roster of protestors. They are hoping for a national protest here on the 22nd Feb.

Generally though they don't welcome publicity or do interviews, ever since a news organisation bracketed them with the 'far right' or 'racist' protestors in Dublin (thats my description of what I suspect are their sentiments).

Well it takes all types, and, while I am only speculating, there maybe three points here:
1) It takes a while for people to properly detox from RTE, for sometime some will still believe their lies (maybe especially slightly older people?)
2) Sometimes you get a kind of a class thing, an upper middle class type person not wanting to associate with Dublin 'ruffians' or whatever.
3) All of these groups are massively infiltrated, and one of the things these agents do is simply give groups bad advice. A protest needs all the publicity it can get at all times, limiting that, from whatever quarter, is generally just bad advice.

But yes these protests are about race, a defence of the Irish one, because we are being systematically targetted for replacement, pure and simple. But not everybody understands that unfortunately...

If that's an answer to the question of the Irish and Scottish being distinct and separate races then I don't find it compelling

Well at the beginning of the 1641 rebellion, many Irish thought the Scots would join with them, instead the Scots sent over an army to protect their recent immigrants and that sparked about 400 years of discord between the two races in Ulster. So I think it does illustrate they are different races.

But I absolutely do not believe in the existence of extra terrestrial aliens at all, and I will not be changing that view no matter what hoaxes are coming the track on that subject.
