What difference does it make if the Earth is flat.

I have returned after 10 days which took me from Newport Oregon on the Pacific to the other side of the country. It was a trip that I long wished to do. I will need to rest some and I am back doing tours on Saturday and they will continue til November 1st or so.

But I have plenty of videos etc etc and will be posting them here

that's a lovely scene --its something my son did last year and he was changed by what he saw --he drove from Milwaukee to LA and then across the desert to Nashville and then to New York .
I have it on my list and my wife will retire next Sept and we hope to rent a suitable vehicle -- please tell us about yours --can you sleep aboard -have you any worries about overnights .
what did it cost had you to return it to where you rented it .

Went to NY and 2nd time , August 2001. Went out to Gettysberg and Valley Forge.

Drank NY out of whiskey and beer. Went up to Curtland St Station and up into the Twin Towers on the 16th August. 23 days later Bang. I was one of the last to photograph them.

You need a totem pole installed at the farm .....I'm sure you could make one and get it stood up with the digger

It was September when in Hill City SD and ND and it was just as cold as here but, drier.

There had been a lot of rain before the Labour day PowWow and they had to move it indoors to a big hall. The outdoor arena was too wet.

Had the sister with me in the west. I though seeing the PowWow and all the Regalia and dancing and presenting prizes to tribal members for community service was one of the most exciting moments of my life. Met a Native called Cummins, Sister did not share my enthusiasm.

I am strange that way, I just though being there and being welcomed by the tribal announcers was very exciting. I think I am the only Irish person to enjoy this calibration of culture and the drum beat song they sing. I could have stayed there for a long time. I will search and try to post s video. The local whites do not like them. But I did. I essentially followed the Luis and Clarke trail.

I thought the natives were all gone, driven out. When I saw the Grand Entry I could not believe it. We were asked to stand for the Flag song which is their anthem. I stood the tallest. I found myself gelling with the whole seen. I shed a few wee tears of Joy. Silly maybe, but that is how I felt. I told some of them I was sorry for Irish involvement in the abuse.
