Trump is the real deal. He was a Billionaire before he entered politics, and had no reasonable reason to do so. That's why they're going after him so hard, and always have. He's not part of the lobby-beholden uniparty.

I don't think he is sincere the way I think both Ron Paul and Jeremy Corbyn were sincere (this is the thing- you can be sincere about things but sincerely wrong). At the same time though I don't think he is some conscious agent or actor the way that I think you are seeing him but neither is he playing 4D chess or what have you the way a lot of his admirers claim imho. Even though he was never a real threat to vested interests the way that a large section of the US Ruling Class reacted or over reacted to his victory showed that his victory was a major upset for them.
