The same James McClean.

View attachment 3370
James was also on about Volleying the Israeli Ambassador out of Ireland = = Turns out the Israeli ambassador to Ireland is a Woman and James's ~ Pronouncement ~ Doesn't sound near as good when it is directed against a Woman.

James jumped in with Both Feet ! !

I caught a bit of the RTE programme Upfront with Katie Hannon (one of those Munster boggers who has developed a Dublin 4 accent since she started working for Pravda) tonight. There was a very articulate man from Rosslare voicing his and his community's concerns around a disused hotel in the harbour being used to accomodate "refugees" in the near future. The man pointed out what everybody knows: that the people arriving are nearly always men and not from dangerous countries, and that it's wrong to expect small communities to bear the burden of these large numbers of people.

Of course the stupid RTE bitch immediately jumped in and started accusing him of misrepresenting the situation on the ground, when he was literally quoting from government correspondence which stated that 159 single men would be arriving next week.

We all know RTE is rotten to the core, but they've really outdone themselves in the last two years in the way they've handled community concerns in relation to mass immigration. Made worse by the fact that all these RTE presenters are completely unqualified to deal with the issue given that all of them live in plush suburbs that are immune from the effects of mass immigration.

To make it worse, they’ve requested that taxpayers pay for their proposed €9 million in pay rises.

They have a neck like a Jockey’s bollox

Found courtesy of ZeroHedge. Is it me or does cringe tinge everything nowadays? Anyway, Tyler's on the ball - fair dues - he did well even though he hadn't been prepped for the exam.

I think he's right on intelligence being indicated by adaptability. Foresight, penetration and integrity could be added. The one who knows nothing but her field did the worst - goes to show the effects of vanity and specialisation on general intelligence. Would someone email Tony (The Science) Fauci this link please?

On a side note - how common are the use of writing systems like grammarly presently? We've pretty much lost our ability to storytell like in the old days - Ted Talks are tritely done in comparison. Since writing is an expression of our thinking, are we going to see an extinction of learning as a side effect of using software to cheat on our exercises?

I am banned from commenting on the Complaints thread. I would like to know the reason?
Saul suggested holding a straightener between Dan and Myles at my place. I will offer the ring fort
where I will cut the crass tight and ban passing tinkers going the road from shitting in it from the day before.

Only Saul as Ref, Dan and Myles as contestant will be allowed into the fort. Plus Tariff the big shorthorn bull. Viewing will be from the high ditch.

I was wary about the announcement of the discovery of the Higgs Boson but I learned how it was confirmed from the below video and stand happily corrected.

From what I can tell, it's interaction with the Higgs Field, rather than the Boson, that gives particles mass, and because the Higgs Boson is so large it decays very quickly in the conditions we can produce to create one, and since it doesn't have an electromagnetic charge, it can't be detected by the technology we have currently. It decays into photons, and when photons were found with energy levels that were consistent to the Boson, it could be declared discovered. It's an interesting explanation of the scientific proof of an undetectable phenomenon - confirmation by effects.

Man crushed to death by robot in South Korea

Automated warehouse with robotic arms

By Emily Atkinson
BBC News

A man has been crushed to death by a robot in South Korea after it failed to differentiate him from the boxes of food it was handling, reports say.
The incident occurred when the man, a robotics company employee in his 40s, was inspecting the robot.
The robotic arm, confusing the man for a box of vegetables, grabbed him and pushed his body against the conveyer belt, crushing his face and chest, South Korean news agency Yonhap said.
He was sent to hospital but later died.

I am surprised you did not engage with my theory on wave / particle physics. I got no traction at all

No dog in this fight but here's my two cents:

It definitely measures a form of intelligence, but it can't be used as a predictive model for intellectual output or achievement. I'm not even sure how well I.Q tests measure baseline intelligence. They're more or less a kind of paradigm; a set of heuristics that define intelligence via a specific architecture.

My I.Q is higher than J.K Rowling's, for example. But I'll never achieve what J.K Rowling has.
