The climate is a dynamic system that never stands still, yet we are instructed to believe that there was once a stable situation that mankind has ripped asunder . We both know this to be nonsense, yet that is the implied narrative and with the human desire for comfort in thought and deed, it’s a nice simple idea ripe for exploitation.

I am not convinced by the ecological overshoot theory, with a more thoughtful use of the soil I would suggest that we can grow sufficient food with fewer inputs. We till it in lumpen ignorance I fear, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
It's not just the soil, Fish. That's actually the least of our worries. I am familiar with soil. Bad soil. Likely worse by far than anything that occurs in Ireland. It can be turned around. It takes a lot of work, but it can be done with careful planning. You have farming experience and know that it's not just as simple as soil health. There's ferts and pesticides fungicides and all manner of shit involved. All that stuff requires stuff to create it.

Ecological overshoot refers to everything from ores to wheat to fish. We simply cannot go on consuming at the current rate. It's totally unsustainable.

I am not saying that there isn’t a concerted effort to manage the weather, only that I don’t believe the commercial jet fleet is part of it.

On August 8, 1958, the first aircraft artificial rain enhancement operation was executed in Jilin, usherin in the new era of contemporary weather modification in China. For the past 6 decades, weather modification operational system has evolved, enhanced capabilities to develop cloud and water resources, and given play to pronounced benefits in agricultural drought alleviation, hail prevention and disaster reduction, water resources deficit mitigation, and ecology improvement, and so on.

I must admit that I was of that persuassion up until I started looking a little deeper into the organic/regenerative farming scene where some farmers are now outyielding their conventional neighbours. I’m coming round to the view that we really haven’t a clue what we are doing soil wise, treating it as a near sterile growing medium rather than a living ecosystem of which the crop is only a minor part.

Well yeah, but this is localized. As far as we know it's not possible to effect this on a macro scale. Cloud seeding isn't even that difficult really, and it can only work if there's already water in the air. Basically they spray 'dust' for lack of a better term at a specific elevation which atmospheric water binds too. If there's no water already present it doesn't work. If it did then the Saudis would have turned their arid shithole into the Amazon basin by now.

When a wee lad I clearly remember attempts to induce rain in Australia, I think, through seeding with Silver compounds, so am perfectly well aware that weather management has been going on for a long time.

Some of the stuff that's happening here in Aus is pretty amazing. I watched a landline special last year and some farmer (a woman no less) turned the shittiest, pebbliest, ugliest, driest and deadset billygoat country shit you've ever seen into viable pasture and farmland. Soil became good enough to grow bananas. It was incredible. She did it by creating water mazes and planting native grasses that are very effective at creating cation. Also planted native trees to offset harsh light exposure at intervals appropriate for lightfall throughout the day. She basically created light/water traps across hundreds of acres.

Yep, that’s the sort of shift in mindset that is required, but I fear it may be beyond 95% of present farmers. I’m not knocking them, most do their best, but there is a new universe of knowledge to be assimilated if that shift is to come about.

Link for Knowledge? I want to believe, show us some evidence if you're in the know?
What has led you to believe that humans are so important on this planet ?

You and I individually are of No importance on this planet and neither is the human populations.

The Planet / Solar System / Galaxy / Universe doesn't even consider us as the tiny-ist squeak-ist Fart !

But of course, weather modification is a commercial business, without passengers.
Northrupp Grumman that I've linked too recon it's 50+ countries who are are using their tech.

Your beliefs on the subject are groundless and need to be enhanced by acknowledgement of the facts as supplied by the geoengineering industry.
In the not far future ~ ~ Maybe even a 100 years the World Population is going to start to reduce / collapse ~ ~ The Population of indigenous Irish People is already falling rapidly ~ ~ The Irish are a Dying People ~ ~ As are the British / Many Western Peoples.

Eventually this will probably happen to all the Peoples of the Planet.

It's about mans impact on the land and nature, the weather is secondary
Yep!poor farming practices were a major contribution.
Same thing with forests undergrowth not been allowed to naturally burn for years.

That's a serious discussion to have.
Very good observation.
Especially antibiotic laced farm manure impact on the soil biology and the bacteria in the soil.

Oh That! Well thanks for the perspective, why didn't you say so in the first place. You know it all along.
Kudos for the disclosure🤩

Agreed, The great Billy Goates has said as much, and when he moves the earth sort of shakes a little.

His stated goal for geoengineering aligns with that of other old corps who endeavour to create a planetary canopy shield to deflect harmful xrays and solar radiation especially when and if the ozone layer should dissipate.

His other stated goals align with what you've just said. Kudos for the acknowledgement.🧐

Excellent news. (y)
Warmer winters mean less fossil fuel being used to heat homes and businesses, the 'climate change cult' (formerly 'the global warming cult') should be over the moon.
