Val is actually in the pucture and was a great assistance

All will be revealed this evening and @Myles O'Reilly will be invited as it is rumored that he has visited this pub often.

Good luck to you Declan - i spent many a day in bartley dunnes as a kid look ing after the place when they were away and my siblings also .
there were 2 bartley dunnes one gay one straight and a barely visible border between them.
the mayor of dublin could be downstairs with hollywood royalty and the archbishop upstairs with the devout dunne family .
barry dunne ex cambrige uk was the gay side of the bar and his brother gerard manchester university was the straight side of the bar .
doormen were robust in eving wear an anthem was sung at closing each night and the wine shop next door only opened each christmas eve and it stocked the promise often tested but rarely beaten of having any drink a well travelled person could ask for --this was on the aerlingus booklet for 40 years .
NOTICE TO SARSFIELDS following a posting of mine on titter in reply to a politician --i stated the time line of the months before kristalnacht and the decleration of war on germany 9 months previous to the night in question and the correction measures carried out on the german economy in 1933 --giving sources -- my computer then suffered an attack and its hard drive was destroyed .
this has meant i have no access to my e mails as i own my own domain and i could not log on to sarsfields and only now do so under a new name .
i hope with the help of someone smarter than i to recover my IT world shortly .
i have just come back from rome and gaeta in italy --i nearly croaked it in 38 degrees in pompeii and had to retreat to the car to survive --there were a few people flaked out of my weight and needed attention --i can no longer go to a country abroad at this time of the year --rome had severe weather warnings in place and the vatican is not airconditioned and i had problems and again had to give up.
