Of course they'll blame Trump and tariffs but the fact is our economy is built on shifting sands and on top of that younger people are losing their jobs in hospitality as hotels are used to house imported leeches.

The irony is that those people would've had no problem with a band like the Wolf Tones or someone playing patriotic music.

Presumably these "far right" musicians would've been playing the same stuff, rebel songs etc.

They are a confused lot.

It comes as a “torrent” of people had signed the open letter from Leitrim and Roscommon against Fascism (LARAF) since it was circulated on Friday.

I live in that part of the countryside, never heard of LARAF. Don't know any of the torrent either.

When looking up that story I saw a headline that a son of Ben Dunne has died in New York aged 50, RIP.

What's the craic here then? PRAVDA are constantly using the term 'a man' regarding this story whereas before they are always at pains to tell us if it's 'a white Irish man' involved.
Can we assume the perp here is an immigrant or what?

It could be a new tactic with these incidents for the authorities to withhold that information to bait us into thinking it's an immigrant, just so they can later come out and say "ha ha, it was actually an Irish man".

They fucked up with that Abdullah fella knifing the Garda though when the media ran debunking articles about it being an immigrant - yeah, technically he wasn't an immigrant but he wasn't Irish which was the real point being made by our side. That story seems to have been memory-holed already.

Na, imported rape cultures are ok, it's the van driver or construction worker or any white person in general who wolf whistles at a nice ass that's the real problem.

Have to say, I've worked in and around the construction industry for almost 40 years and never, not even once, have I heard anyone wolf whistling at a decent looking bird.

It's lazy policing, the DEI hires with accelerated promotion up through the structure are too soft, too possessed by idealogy to concentrate on the real areas of crime, much easier to go after the low hanging fruit with a bit of entrapment thrown in.
