What is quite weird about the housing situation is that it is dearer to build a home than buy one. So are building costs too high or house prices too low?

Not sure that left and right should be fighting together, democracy relies on an opposition, we presently have a situation without a functioning opposition, it is not doing us any favours.

Aye, it may not apply to Dublin so much but out here in the sticks it’s well accepted. There are tables used by the insurance companies for rebuilding costs, I’ll post a link when I am back at the PC, but just as an example mine will cost 40K more to rebuild than it’s worth.

Spotting a loser and swinging his pizza laden lardarse behind it appears to be its one and only talent.

Now calling itself Haven, I first came across it much time ago when it was known as Hammer during the water charge protests, no prizes for guessing where it stood slumped on that!
