Message: <blockquote data-quote="AUL LAD" data-source="post: 110456" data-attributes="member: 406">There are many sensors on an aircraft and i do not know how we survive as i see many people and children ignoring the specific request to turn them off --i landed in fog in cork on Sunday last and the Aerlingus pilot specifically stated the airport was fog bound and he would have to insist his instruments were not compromised by people using devices --it did not have the slightest effect people went mad within 10 miles of cork .aircraft use a combination of canbus systems and conventional and signal circuits to provide sometimes 3 circuits for redundancy .the canbus is a single wire to all items on the plane and each box /canbus listens for its permission to activate and then listens for its signal to turn off .in a car the left hand indicators would listen for 7 tones to turn on and 9 to turn off  and its all fine until something adds or removes a tone and you cannot turn something off or on and you need a computer to hear what commands were sent to discover who is at fault ,it saves tons of wiring and tons of insulation and each wire has to be firmly clamped along its miles of journey which add greatly to the weight and drilling of the aircraft and the weakening of the structure. wireless is great until somebody with a greater radio signal fucks things up or blocks a signal  --lightning can do it even the friction on brake discs can do it or spinning wheel rims  can create a powerful signal  -- radar on Russian military aircraft can sterilize a young woman if she walks in front of it .the solar flares ground thousands of aircraft in America regularly and stop TV and mobile phone signals,also   the radio/data  link between ATC and the airline--- and the plane maker--- and the engine maker ---- all who broadcast info 24/7 from the aircraft independently to each other are overcome by EMF from the sun making the legally required  monitoring of the aircraft impossible and blocking out the pilots chatter on the radio to anyone .peoples luggage now have tracking sensors sown into their fabric to locate them-- this will give readings as will all the cameras which have Bluetooth connections for flash activation or selfies or anything .we have sensors coming our our rear ends  literally.</blockquote>
