The Sergeant is very quick with her civil injunctions. During the local elections last year, she rang Michelle Keane and complained about her “deport the rapist refugees” attitude. Michelle had legally recorded the conversation, so she posted it online. Melanie got very upset and took a civil case against Michelle, injuncting her from even mentioning the name of Sgt Melanie “Piggy” Walsh. Why?
And if Michelle had something inciting hatred on her leaflets, why did Sgt Piggy not take criminal action under our old but detailed incitement to hatred law? This is all very mysterious. Is it some kind of conspiracy???
Michelle took down the recording. Then, after the general election, as Michelle is trying to query the election results, Melanie gets Michelle thrown into Limerick prison for four days for supposedly breaching the injunction. Michelle didn't mention Melanie at all, but when the judge is “mason adjacent” what else can you expect but a crooked judgement? Sad but true. Happens every day of the week.
Irish civil law says you can't say that Sergeant Piggy was involved in election rigging. But under US law that's kosher. If Melanie wants injunctions against these allegations, she will have to go to Boston. But Trump would love to make fun of her and humiliate her, so perhaps that is not such a clever move? She could also try to take an injunction against the owners of the internet cables coming into Ireland, forcing them to ban Sarsfields. I don't think this has happened yet, but the law and the tech allow it. But if there is any objection – even the most trivial - to any words here, they can be changed or removed. Just let mé know.
Question: Does anyone (outside of Ireland/UK/EU) have a transcript of the Michelle and Melanie chitty chat? If an Irish resident person has it, it might be a breach of the injunction to share it with anyone else. But outside the 26 it will breach nó injunction. Thousands of people must have made a copy of the recording and some of them must be in the US. This is the 21 st century.
Please, please, please, somebody find the recording, make a transcript and publish it somewhere outside the jurisdiction of the 26 County statelet.

Let's write to our TDs and urge them to put down a motion in Dáil Éireann naming Sgt Piggy and a couple of dozen other dodgy Garda, and urging that they be investigated for malpractice, given a fair trial and sacked without a pension. It's all perfectly legal, as long as Dail Éireann does it, matteradam what Brussels says.
