Just in time for St Patrick's Day [kind of], we need here a thread celebrating the great moment in the history of the Irish race, when this great saint brought the truth of the order of the world and the heavens, to Ireland.

So mostly this is a celebration of the Christian religion, the nourishment and guide of peoples souls which has kept 'Irish eyes smiling' through all the vicissitudes of life even in the far flung corners of the globe.

Therefore, Happy St Patrick's Day everyone, and this is my favourite St Patrick's day picture, from London in this year 2024!

Yes, thats a well known accepted fact, but only on a limited scale here and there. I think St Shechlain, of Dunshaughlin, was a pre- St Patrick saint.

Where there Celts on Calvary the day of the Crucifixion?

"Ye senseless Galatians, who hath bewitched you, you before whose eyes Jesus Christ was depicted nailed to the cross?"

Letter from Saint Paul to the Galatians. The Westminster version of the sacred scriptures.
