You think that the hype about the Harry Potter films, the Olympics ceremony this year and the Irish Eurovision entry, come out of nowhere? Not at all, this is where the real power lies, and witchcraft is self consciously an integral part of this world, as is voodoo, channelling of spirits/demons and all these other Occult goings on.
