Regardless of the good work done, Her religious sectarianism and disparagement of Irish left leaning agnostic/atheist Irish people leave her with a very limited support base.  Val must be encountering a similar situation.I find it all very curious and am patiently keeping an eye out for God to empower both Val & Gemma. In a country with such an original traditional devout adherence to their Religion surely we can expect to see a miracle where by their faith gets rewarded and at least the abrahamic's coalesce as is Val's dream.
