Message: <blockquote data-quote="Professor" data-source="post: 72829" data-attributes="member: 202">Not my heroes, I had joined with the locals and voted PBP RBB into government what was it, 14-15 years ago as he did great local canvassing for a better social deal in the neighbourhood while giving the local DLRDCoCo a regular proper critical dressing down and telling-off.  He had us marching up and down the streets cheerily looking forward to progressive development.PBP failed on all local accounts but I had pulled out beforehand due to what i could see was a party too obsessed with outside issues not related to the problems and difficulties they canvassed for and they seemed to tacitly support local elitist venues & causes. I was stunned to see how uncooperative they could be in ignoring and not supporting minor issues which needed fixing, things their councillors should have been interested in.  Something wasn't right especially since they had loads of give for outside unrelated matters like we see today. They're going to lose their early supporters this election coming but I guess they've got all the woke & foreigners now.None of the above are heroes, They are the arselickers of the corporate power they claim to oppose and are not loyal to the social locality.  At least with FF FG one knew thed'd do feck all in the town but the socialists were all touchy feeley down to earth local can-do'ers who could harness the local communities power and good intentions to prevent unwanted developments and build community facilities instead - They wasted their voters time and trust and developed nothing - A crap achievement!</blockquote>
