Did Mussolini become more right-wing over time whereas Hitler became more like Napoléon toward the end of his time in politics?

The Republic of Salo is generally seen as Italian Fascism's return to it's Left wing roots.

It was certainly the most intense period of rule by Italian Fascism and the most anti-Jewish if that is what you mean by "Right wing".

But didn't Mussolini nurture Evola as well as Croce/Gentile?
