Does anyone believe Billy, it looks a bit glib and rehearsed to me

I was in Portugal recently and Spain last year and I did not enquire but go to and eastern country and you can go to ranges and fire anything you can afford. That is my understanding,

Also, unless I am mistaken, in Ireland a farmer might be able to get a single or double barrel shotgun or a bolt action .22 with a mag of 5 or a few more. You can't get a semi auto or obviously fully auto. And it is on the OK of your local or district Superintendent.

If a lad was in the FCA especially a highly ranked NCO like @Myles O'Reilly then you would have fired 303s, FN rifle from Belgium, a bren light machine gun that you would fire lying down unless you were a superman like me that could fire 2 while running like Oisin Bolt. You would also have fired a gustav while standing. That was an inaccurate sprayer for close range indeed,

They have ungraded from the FN nowadays,

Some would have learned at least how to fire a mortar. And some would be taught to lob grenades.

No pistols though unless it changed recently which I doubt as they are far more prone to some lug shooting the lad beside him than with a rifle
we are not at war yet and the use of guns is very 19th century now -- what can be accomplished by a drone with a camera is increadable as the Russians and Ukrainians have found out .
a military attack on a building would need considerable local knowledge as to where there were inflammable contents and you would need at least 3 drones one with explosive to blow a hole in the roof and 2 with incendiaries - when they do it it will become commonplace as they can take off a mile away from any cordon and they cannot be followed across rivers and fields --the only threat would be an opposing air force of drones and radar which i think will become commonplace --i find it utterly daft that there were no drones protecting Trump -- no helicopter with a camera used in northern Ireland 20 years ago .
things will change rapidly when somebody uses drones.

I suspect wolf that no Garda was injured yesterday in Coolock. You see that kind of report at virtually all protests, but its generally just fiction. As I pointed out in a comment above, as a rule nobody attacks Gardai at these protests, generally its just all one way, they are attacking the protestors.
