It is dawning on people that it is game over
It must be . . .

"The Defense Ministry and the General Staff of the Russian Army are currently selecting targets to strike on the territory of Ukraine," Putin said speaking at the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Summit in Astana.

"But at the end of the day, it will be up to us to choose the means of destruction considering the nature of the targets that were selected to be wiped out and the threats posed to the Russian Federation," Putin noted.

"These targets may include military facilities, defense industry enterprises or decision-making centers in Kiev," the Russian president stated.

Did it happen at all?
Much like all those people dropping dead in the street from the ConVid in 2020........

UN ignoring Russia’s ā€˜Bucha victims’ requests – Lavrov

The UN is ignoring repeated requests by Moscow to provide the names of civilians allegedly killed in a ā€œmassacreā€ in the Kiev suburb of Bucha, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said. Moscow has rejected Western and Ukrainian allegations that Russian forces carried out killings in the area in 2022.
The alleged massacre in Bucha made international headlines in April 2022 when Ukrainian forces claimed to have found the bodies of hundreds of people in a suburb of Kiev, shortly after Russian troops left the area as part of a ā€œgoodwill gestureā€ by Moscow amid peace talks with Kiev.
Ukraine immediately blamed the deaths on Russia and subsequently used the incident as one of the main reasons for its withdrawal from the peace negotiations. Moscow has repeatedly said the so-called massacre was a false-flag operation intended to tarnish its image and derail the diplomatic process.
At the time, a BBC journalist showed ā€œdozens of bodies lying on the central street, and later Russia was accused of killing civiliansā€ and ā€œcommitting war crimes,ā€ Lavrov recalled during an embassy roundtable on the Ukraine conflict, held in Moscow on Friday.

Russia accuses Ukraine of massacring civilians in attempted ā€˜false flag’

ā€œToday, we do not have any answer to our question. We want to have a name-list of individuals whose bodies were found by the BBC journalist,ā€ Lavrov stressed.
The Russian foreign minister said he had appealed to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres three times to provide the relevant lists, ā€œbut there is just silence in response.ā€
Earlier this week, the Russian Foreign Ministry accused Ukrainian forces of executing civilians in a Donbass town as part of a ā€œfalse flagā€ operation designed to wrongly frame Moscow for war crimes.
According to the ministry, witnesses claimed that mercenaries, including alleged Polish nationals, carried out dozens of killings in Selidovo in Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic before retreating in the face of advancing Russian troops in late October.

ā€œWhen the West started talking about peace negotiations, [Ukrainian leader Vladimir] Zelensky began preparing ā€˜Bucha 2’, but in Selidovo,ā€ Rodion Miroshnik, a senior foreign ministry official tasked with gathering evidence of Ukrainian war crimes, stated.

What a kip......:ROFLMAO:

Kiev fires official after Mariupol revelations

Pyotr Andryushchenko earlier revealed that around a third of residents have moved back to the city, which is now part of Russia

A Ukrainian official who revealed the extent to which former residents have returned to the now-Russian city of Mariupol has been fired.
According to a Telegram post by the Kiev-assigned city Mayor Vadim Boychenko on Saturday, his adviser Pyotr Andryushchenko has been stripped of his position and will no longer perform his duties as the official speaker of the Mariupol City Council.
The Black Sea city in the Donetsk People’s Republic has been under Russian control since May 2022, when it was captured following an 85-day battle that left much of the city in ruins. The region voted to join Russia later that same year, along with the regions of Lugansk, Kherson, and Zaporozhye.
Earlier this month, Andryushchenko made headlines after claiming that a third of the people who had lived in Mariupol under Ukrainian rule and fled to Kiev-controlled territories amid the fighting have returned to the city due to inadequate support from the government in Kiev.
ā€œThe reason is the lack of sufficient support and solutions to the housing issue on the territory of Ukraine. People simply have nowhere to live. Even if they work, there is not enough money to afford rent,ā€ Andryushchenko told the broadcaster Mi-Ukraine.
Mass desertions crippling Ukrainian army – AP READ MORE: Mass desertions crippling Ukrainian army – AP
His comments caught the attention of a number of Ukrainian officials who accused the government in Kiev of not doing enough to assist people displaced due to the conflict.
Maksim Tkachenko, the people’s deputy from the Servant of the People party, recently claimed that 150,000 internally displaced people have moved to former Ukrainian territories that are now Russian, including around 70,000 to Mariupol alone. He later backtracked, saying his words were an ā€œemotional assumption.ā€
Boychenko himself acknowledged earlier this month that around 30% of Mariupol’s residents who left the city after the start of the conflict have now returned. In his post announcing the firing of Andryushchenko, Boychenko did not comment on whether the move had anything to do with the adviser’s statements on people returning to Mariupol.
Earlier this week, Irina Vereshchuk, the deputy head of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky’s office, attempted to refute the claims of people moving to former Ukrainian territories en masse, saying there are no confirmed statistics on this. Vereshchuk called the claims ā€œhype for the sake of good headlines,ā€ but acknowledged that the government is not doing enough to support the displaced, as it currently lacks resources ā€œdue to war.ā€

After the escalation of the conflict in February 2022, the Ukrainian authorities paid each internally displaced person 2,000 hryvnia ($50) a month. However, in March this year, most of the payments were cut, and now only pensioners, disabled people, children with disabilities, orphans, and children deprived of parental care are eligible to receive the funds.

I support Putin's invasion of Ukraine... he's defending Russia & the Orient from American usury. Putin is brilliant for agriculture just as the Chinese, Mongolians, North Koreans, Syrians & Iranians are.

Any one who is in bed with the Iranians are good in my view.

Estonia made a nice plan - declare war on Russia and then everybody ran to Finland
Iltalehti interpreted it as follows: "According to Merilo, the Estonian army will destroy its cities in case of war, because it prevents or at least complicates the advance of the enemy invading Estonia."
"If necessary, the Estonian army itself will destroy Estonian cities. For example, in Narva, you have to be prepared so that the city's infrastructure and streets are made impassable to the enemy. We don't want to talk about it out loud, but in a war situation it is very important that the infrastructure can be used to prevent the movement of the enemy," the Finnish newspaper Merilo said.
Iltalehti: "According to Merilo, Estonia blows up buildings and bridges if necessary. He talked about how infrastructure in Finland has been planned for decades with the idea that it can be blown up if necessary.
For example, at the Merilo seminar, the Kanama viaduct located in the Saku municipality next to Tallinn was taken up, the blowing up of which a few weeks ago gave the Estonian Defense Forces practice in destroying the infrastructure. 60 kilograms of TNT were used in the explosion. A new one will be built to replace the old viaduct, which will also better meet the needs of the military. (—)
According to Merilo, Estonia is currently in a situation where military escalation is underway, and an attack on Estonia may turn out to be a more likely possibility than it is now."
The article also stated: "Major General Andrus Merilo spoke at a seminar of Estonian infrastructure builders in Tallinn. His directness has surprised many in Estonia. Many have also thought about whether all Estonian civilians could really be transferred from the foot of the war to foreign countries and, for example, to neighboring Finland?
More than a million people live in Estonia. In Estonia, there are no large and up-to-date bomb shelters open to all civilians, and there are no plans to build them now, so the only way for the civilian population to get shelter from the war is to flee.
Finland would be the most logical country to escape to, as Estonia has close shipping connections with Finland. The southern neighbor Latvia would be a less likely evacuation target, because if Russia attacks Estonia, it will probably attack Latvia as well.

It's over.
America can fuck off home.

Not so fast . . .

MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. The Ukrainian army may be planning some localized attacks on Russian territory, using its defeatist rhetoric in the media as a cover to swoop in and hit Russia when it least expects it, so Moscow needs to be ready for anything, military expert Andrey Marochko told the Sputnik radio station.

ETA - "The enemy may be trying to lull us into a false sense of security by saying that their situation is bad, only to hit us by surprise, Andrey Marochko said

Kiev too weak to retake territory – Zelensky

Diplomacy is the only option, but it will only be possible when Ukraine is strong enough, the country’s leader has said

The Ukrainian army is powerless to push back Russian forces and recapture all the territories that belonged to Kiev before 2014, Vladimir Zelensky has said, adding that his country must rely on diplomacy to achieve this goal.
In an interview with Kyodo News on Monday, the Ukrainian leader signaled that Kiev wants to end the conflict as soon as possible and retake Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson, and Zaporozhye regions after the prospects of joining NATO become clear.
He acknowledged, however, that this will not be easy. ā€œOur army lacks the strength to do that… We do have to find diplomatic solutions.ā€ At the same time, diplomacy will have a chance ā€œonly when we know that we are strong enoughā€ and Russia is prevented from launching new offensives, Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian leader went on to say that US President-elect Donald Trump, who will be sworn in in January, is well aware of the details of his ā€˜victory plan’, adding that this initiative will put Ukraine in a ā€œstrong positionā€ for negotiations. The plan, which was unveiled by Zelensky in October, demands an immediate invitation to join NATO, unrestricted Western military support, and placing conventional deterrence measures in Ukraine to keep Russia at bay. Moscow has rejected the plan as a ā€œset of incoherent slogansā€ and a recipe for escalation.

Fighting to the last Ukrainian: Why does the West believe it occupies the high moral ground?

The Trump team, the Ukrainian leader claimed, is ā€œstudying the plan and we are going to hear from them… But there will be no capitulation from the side of Ukraine.ā€
While Zelensky has ruled out ā€œbargainingā€ over territory, he signaled last week that Kiev could be ready for a ceasefire with Moscow if Ukraine is allowed in its current form to join NATO. He added, however, that this deal has never been on the table.
Russia has signaled that it is ready for talks over Ukraine, but insists that any settlement must take into account the territorial realities on the ground. Moscow has also ruled out the option of freezing the conflict, stressing that all of the goals of its military operation – including Ukrainian neutrality, denazification, and demilitarization – must be achieved.

Ukraine’s conscription police targeting concerts – official

The country’s military is facing high desertion rates and a shortage of fighting-age men at the front

Any major public event in Ukraine can be raided by conscription officials looking for potential recruits, an officer responsible for enforcing mobilization admitted in a recent interview.
Kiev overhauled its system of military service this year in an attempt to boost conscription rates amid a shortage of manpower at the front. Meanwhile, several large concerts have been targeted recently. Attendees found officials waiting at the exits to check their status and, in some cases, issue summonses.
Oleg Timoshenko, who leads the draft campaign in the city of Cherkasy, was responsible for one such raid on a concert in mid-October. In an interview with local media last week, he said that such efforts were part of the conscription center’s regular work.
ā€œWe analyze the developing situation, the number of people that the Army needs, and where such people could congregate,ā€ he told the online news outlet 18000.
Asked whether officials followed the schedule of public events to pick raid targets, Timoshenko said ā€œof courseā€ they did. But this ā€œdoes not mean that conscription officials or police will be at every concert,ā€ he added. The next raid in the region could happen ā€œtomorrow or in two months,ā€ he said.

A concert in Kiev by Ukrainian rock band Okean Elzy in October marked the first major incident of the kind. Some 50 military personnel and police officers were deployed outside the Palace of Sports to screen male attendees.
The group’s frontman, Vyacheslav Vakarchuk, served as an MP and in 2019 founded the pro-Western Golos party. Since its parliamentary faction is in opposition to Vladimir Zelensky’s Servant of the People party, there was speculation that the event was targeted for political reasons.
Kiev’s mobilization drive is being carried out in an increasingly strong-armed fashion, Western media have acknowledged. An officer interviewed by The Telegraph last week compared draft dodgers with cornered rats who keep fighting even after being caught.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military is plagued with high desertion rates, with at least 60,000 troops having gone AWOL, the Financial Times reported on Saturday.

American journalist Tucker Carlson has said the US government has been blocking his attempts to organize an interview with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky for more than a year.
On Wednesday, Carlson published a video on X in which he previewed the upcoming release of an interview with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The journalist said the conversation with Russia’s top diplomat was aimed at providing a perspective on how close Washington and Moscow could be to a direct clash, after the administration of outgoing US President Joe Biden granted Ukraine permission to fire American-made long-range weapons deep into Russian territory.
In the same clip, filmed on Manezhnaya Square in the heart of Moscow, the former Fox News host revealed that ā€œwe have also tried for over a year to get an interview with Zelensky, the president of Ukraine.ā€
According to Carlson, his team ā€œhave attacked that from a bunch of different angles. We have spoken to a lot of different people around him, had dinner with them. We have been in talks continuously.ā€

ā€œAnd those efforts have been thwarted by the US government. The American Embassy in Kiev, which our tax dollars pay for, told the Zelensky government: No, you may not do the interview. You can talk to CNN. You cannot talk to us,ā€ Carlson said.
In June, the journalist said he had agreed an interview with the Ukrainian leader. However, Zelensky’s press-secretary, Sergey Nikiforov, swiftly rejected the claim, saying that ā€œTucker Carlson should check his sources in the FSB (Russia’s Federal Security Service) more carefully.ā€ Zelensky ā€œhas a completely different schedule, and Tucker Carlson is not on it,ā€ Nikiforov stressed.
Carlson’s latest trip to Moscow is his second since the escalation between Russia and Ukraine in early 2022. In February, he interviewed Russian President Vladimir Putin, with the recording of their two-hour conversation getting 14 million views on YouTube and 185 million views on X in the first three days after its release.

Zelensky sanctions Georgian authorities

The Ukrainian leader has called on the US, EU and ā€œeveryone in the worldā€ to follow Kiev’s lead

Ukraine has sanctioned the government of another former Soviet republic, Georgia, which Vladimir Zelensky has accused of ā€œsurrenderingā€ the country to Russia.
Georgia has been gripped by protests since late October, when the pro-Western opposition refused to recognize the results of a parliamentary election in which the ruling Georgian Dream party achieved a convincing victory.
The rallies turned violent last week after the government announced that it would suspend accession talks with the EU, citing ā€œconstant blackmail and manipulationā€ of Georgian domestic politics by Brussels. There have also been multiple instances of rioters clashing with police in Tbilisi, resulting in several hundred people being detained.
In a video address on Thursday, Zelensky said he had signed a decree to place restrictions on the leader of the ruling Georgian Dream party, Bidzina Ivanishvili, and 19 other Georgian officials.
ā€œThese sanctions target the part of the Georgian government that is surrendering Georgia to Putin. This is the very issue that is fueling the protests in Georgia right now,ā€ the Ukrainian leader claimed.

He also called on the US, EU and ā€œeveryone in the worldā€ to follow Kiev’s example and also slap restrictions on Georgia.
ā€œWe must not lose anyone in this region – neither Georgia, nor Moldova, nor Ukraine. We must stand united in defending ourselves against Moscow,ā€ Zelensky insisted.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova suggested that Zelensky was acting out of ā€œanger that Georgia found the strength to reject the Ukrainian scenario.ā€
Earlier this week, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said a Maidan-style coup, similar to the one that deposed democratically elected Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich in 2014, had ā€œfailedā€ in Georgia.
ā€œThere was a coordinated and pre-planned effort involving foreign funding for its execution. This is precisely why some individuals opposed the adoption of the Transparency Law, enabling foreign financing of revolutionary activities in Georgia to remain concealed,ā€ Kobakhidze said.
The legislation in question was adopted by Tbilisi earlier this year despite heated protests from the opposition, which branded it ā€œa Russian law.ā€

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has met with a member of a Ukrainian military unit believed to have neo-Nazi links, during his visit to the country this week. Video footage of Scholz with the wounded fighter was posted on X by Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky.
The German head of government visited Ukraine on Monday, where he held talks with Zelensky that were preceded by a joint visit to a hospital where wounded military personnel are being treated.
Commenting on Scholz’s visit, X user Moss Robeson, who claims to be an independent researcher of Ukrainian fascism and Nazism, wrote that Zelensky had introduced the German official to an injured ā€œfighter from the šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡¦National Guard battalion affiliated with the far-right Svoboda party.ā€ According to the post, the party has ties to German neo-Nazi party ā€˜Der Dritte Weg’ (The Third Way).
A readout on the German chancellor’s website quotes him as reiterating Berlin’s unwavering support for Kiev during a joint press conference with Zelensky on Monday. Scholz added that his focus was on ensuring that Ukraine would be negotiating from a favorable position during any potential talks with Russia.

The Kremlin has long maintained that far-right elements have infiltrated the Ukrainian military and public authorities, and has described the ā€œdenazificationā€ of the country as one of its ongoing military campaign’s objectives.
The Azov battalion is among the most notable examples of these tendencies, Moscow says.
Established as a volunteer unit in 2014 and incorporated into Ukraine’s National Guard a year later, Azov infamously uses banners with the Wolfsangel symbol, which was also used by several German divisions during World War II, including the 2nd SS Panzer Division Das Reich.
Zelensky insults Russia during press conference READ MORE: Zelensky insults Russia during press conference
Many of its fighters are known active and former members of ultranationalist and neo-Nazi groups, as well as groups of far-right football hooligans.
The battalion’s co-founder is prominent Ukrainian nationalist and white supremacist Andrey Biletsky.
Azov has been accused of committing war crimes in Donbass during the course of the armed conflict there that started in 2014. It has been formally designated a terrorist organization by Russian authorities.
In early 2023, Biletsky set up the 3rd Assault Brigade, which is made up of numerous Azov members. This unit has since attempted to water down its far-right imagery, even staging a public-relations tour across Europe this summer.
However, the Ukrainian brigade had to cancel planned events in such cities as Berlin, Rotterdam, Brussels and Cologne amid a backlash from local left-wing activists and politicians.
Commenting on the unit’s PR exercise, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov called it a ā€œdisgusting phenomenon.ā€

It really is going down now with the Germans turning chicken and Orban blaming it all on Biden.

I expect Zellensky to flee to London at any moment, if he is lucky. Surely the military want to string him up as he has wiped them out basically.
