The problem is that the Dublin Elites are emotionally addicted to the Brussels project- possibly, even probably, more so than savage Ulster Prods are addicted to UK. "The heart has reasons that reason knows not"- Pascal.

I think they will try reinflate the whole system for a last hurrah, where the US is trying to put up a last gasp turn of the screw, where I do think interest rates may go up as well at a certain point, ye will own nothing if ye have a mortgate. Either way I think they will continue on for now, where ye would not see such a move from the US otherwise. But do not take such as advice, who knows.

Meant to point out earlier than Trump has put back the implementation of the tariffs for 90 days having got the rest of the world wound up (most of it anyway).

This is the businessman in him, get people shitting themselves then you have a power over them. The world has to to understand they are not dealing with a politician here.

sounds like a lot of cope.

Trump caved when push came to shove. They'd have reached a better deal when 90 days of tarriffs had been allowed to do their stuff. Who'd take Trump seriously now?
