Politics today in the West is- and this maybe even started to be the case in the second half of the 1980s is largely meaningless. "There is no alternative", "La Pensee Unique", etc. However Trump brings some razzmattazz and dramatics to it all. Supporting him I think for a lot of people is like supporting a football team.

Back in the 1990s Trump was calling Pat Buchanann literally a Hitlerite for advocating stuff that he advocates for now only in a much more sober manner. If they had been put in place back in the 1990s the USA would not be hurtling towards the abyss it is hurtling to now. However Trump has not really being addressing core issues that have arisen since like crumbling infrastructure that you need to get a handle on first before having fantasies of "Making America Great Again".

I believe the pro-Trumpian Derangement Syndrome we're witnessing to be even more sinister than the original anti-TDS.
I am from Europe - a continent about to be pulverised by the globalists in every way - they have been telling us for years. I could go on but it'd take too long.
I think a healthy dose of scepticism re the US and her policies are very much in order.
My loyalty is entirely with the Irish People and this tiny island not some actor behind the Resolute desk.
