The principle problem with a nuclear war is that you cannot get away from it, radiation will be everywhere, the EMP's will immedietly wipe devices and destroy communications. It's an absolute non starter and I do retain the belief that while the children play on the public stage wiser heads, out of the limelight, will prevail.

I think some people think - Sure we can drop a "nuclear" bomb or two, sure hasn't it been done before and the world didn't end..

To this day, the justification for the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki to end the second world war in the Pacific is still debated.
