The By-elections in Galway West and Dublin Central.

I absolutely agree that everybody should be talking about vote rigging, I mentioned it on A J Cahill's twitter thread so I wonder what he thinks about it.

But then how can Hutch be a Government plant to steel Steenson's votes if it doesn't happen because of PR?
It's a script. It doesn't have to happen. It just has to semi-plausibly seem to happen.

Even the comments at the Journaliar.ie have vote rigging mentions!!!!

I wrote to Steenson mentioning the vote rigging. The bollox didn't say one word about it ever.

Cahill is getting the same approx 1% anti mass migration vote that we got in the last General, Local and European elections. Yeah right, the same people that can get 100,000's on the streets of Dublin on occasion...
This is misleading, you are not accounting for Thomas getting 10,000 first preferences

Still can't understand Bocht's insistence that splitting the vote is grand because its proportional representation.
It makes no difference because the total vote is still not even close to be within pissisg distance of winning.

Please Stinson, fuck off now

What makes you so sure that is the correct number? The fact that the returning officer in Galway declared it to be so? The civil service vote counters? The honesty of the Garda Sicini?

If Slimy Simon Harris can supposedly get 20,000 first preferences, maybe Thomas' real number was actually 20k?

The opinion polls show 80% want Remigration but the Galway votes show barely 20%.

There are about 48000 votes and he got 10000. And almost won. That is pretty amazing

It is remarkable how they love to drag out the counting. It is deliberately inefficient and they make a mockery of it.

Instead of throwing money at evil civil servants to count the votes, why don't we give the thieves, fraudsters, murderers and innocent men in prison a day out and get them to count for free? Even low IQ people can find the number 1 on list of 15 names quicker than our civil servants.

Boy A and Boy B, despite their satanic madness, would, if they were carefully supervised, give a more honest count and much quicker too.

I am not so sure. There are people hete that can’t seem to grasp PR voting

A Innealtoir! The first rule of computers: Garbage In., Garbage Out!

48,000 votes but 100,000 registered voters. What makes you so sure there were only 48,000 votes? The honesty of the Returning Officer lady for Galway? Hmmm.

Half the people voting is a good tirnout for a by election

Bocht is absolutely correct to say that in proportional representation splitting the vote doesn't really happen.
Bocht is absolutely wrong.

If everyone rowed in behind one strong candidate and pooled their finances for a proper campaign IE posters, leafles, media, social media etc, you'd stand a far better chance of getting someone at least being talked about.

This putting of half a dozen nobodies into the field is nonsense. We seen in the last election the way Paddy transfers. He's all over the place.

He'll vote for a nationalist candidate and then he'll put FFG/SF/LAB etc right down the ballot.

It is over in Dublin. I am delighted with the result

I don't think Thomas is popular among anti mass migration voters, not after his 'far right' comments. I think they would have voted for Cahill especially because the latter put a lot of effort into the campaign, posters, radio appearances etc.

I am sure his real vote was an awful lot higher...

You over estimate the IQ of the average voter. An intelligent vote would be O Leary, Cahill , Thomas

Eist go curamach leis an ceist. What makes you think that figure is accurate? Did an angel come to you in a dream and reveal the number? Do you trust the combined honesty of Art O'Leary at the Election commison, the lady returning officer, the civil servants, men in white vans and the Garda Sicini?

It's OK of you believe they are honest. I disagree, but I fully respect your right to believe what you belive.

Ach beifh me ag magadh fut! :)

Moving on , what I wished to see were accomplished. FF were destroyed in both places. FG in one because the lad in Galway is well liked.

Sinn Féin coming 2nd, surely means the end of Mary Moo. And Michael Martin is surely gone as well. FF backbenchers will definitely both afyer seeing Thomas top the poll.

Well in " normal " parties that might be the case but with these two parties ~ Who knows ? !

It would be interesting to get the views of the normies who voted No. 1 for Kyne or Ennis. Not through media quotes but directly. But I think it would be very hard to find ten people who would answer, even anonymously. What about your Galway Uni buddies, Dec? Would they answer an anonymous questionnaire?

1. What's your main reason for voting for them
2. What do you think about their pro-immigration stance
3. How do you rate their honesty

Michael Martin boasted to one of Our Guys that he, Martin "didn't make any decisions. So stop wasting your time protesting about me" . FF members do not decided when Micky Martin must go. Micky Martin doesn't decide when he goes. Micky's handlers, whoever they are, decide when he goes.

What is not to like, surely to god ye did not actually Stetson to win.

Now, I am just wakened after an alarming dream pertending my death and I see people making merry at the expense of their fearless leader.

Ye would be better occupied worried about the african in galway who beirve it or not, could actually now win the seat

Steenson may well have moved in to position to win a seat in that constituency at the next Election, especially if the Tout Hutch would spend more time with his Crimes ! ! !

I guess, realistically, that's the best outcome we could have got (would add the Nigerian, was also way off the pace in Galway, despite this being a strong labour seat, if labour had of ran an Irish candidate, they would have won). Question, why is the fg candidate so well liked, he failed to get elected last time around, madness that anyone would vote for him this time.

Because he had a running mate that got elected

Bottom lime. Ogbu tripled her vote.

A J Cahill doubled his.

Kyne getting a nice transfer for FF and he will eventually win by about 4000 votes.

Hard to know which way ogbu and soc dems transfers will go, don't necessarily think they will transfer to a government candidate

They will go anyplace but Thomas. A great number will not transfer, this late in the counts

I can't see enough going to Thomas alright !

Might as well hope for the best but it is very unlikely !

I can't see Thomas getting enough of these Votes but one must hope !

  • Noel THOMAS, II

    + 552

    15,246

  • Seán KYNE, FG

    + 600

    14,969

  • Helen OGBU, LAB
    Excluded

    + 3,897

    12,960

Ogbu is eliminated on 13000 votes and it is very likely that the vast majority that do transfer will go to Kirby

It would be funny if Thomas won with transfers from the Labour candidate !

Very very very un-likely ~ But it would be hilarious if it happened ! ! !
