I think the masses are manipulated,
You think that anyone who doesn't agree with your insane stupidity is part of a manipulated mass.

they do not have proper opinions, they become a tyranny very easily, most are sheer idiots. I would certainly include people on this forum in that. But they have interests, and I agree with democracy as a way to represent those interests. However interest and opinion are entirely different political phenomena. I would leave the representation of opinion to an elite, granted I do not see we have an elite anymore, as our education system has been largely destroyed and even the old families do not bring up their children anymore to potentially be statesmen. They all turn out to be ideologues of one type or another, left or right, or party cult, except possibly some of those grounded in a traditional religion.

Rats from a sinking ship, despite all the X.com Ukrainian propaganda posted by the fat 63 year old Bunny in the Middle East, Ukraine aren't winning this war.

As are the psychopaths in the EU.

In her post, von der Leyen also underscored the recently signed Drone Deal, an agreement on deepening industrial cooperation in unmanned systems signed during her visit to Kyiv on July 15.

"Our Drone Deal will harness the EU's industrial strength to produce Ukraine's most innovative defence equipment at speed and scale," von der Leyen said.

Russia’s deepening fuel crisis is spreading beyond filling-station queues into freight, agriculture, retail and public services, threatening to deliver a fresh inflationary shock as the country enters its peak harvest season.

The shortages, aggravated by Ukraine’s sustained campaign of drone attacks against Russia’s oil refineries and oil depots, are not yet critical across the entire economy. As IntelliNews reported, Russia’s oil production is battered but not broken. But their cumulative effects are beginning to reinforce one another, raising transport and production costs while squeezing consumers and already strained regional budgets, Bear Market Brief reports.

More than 50 attacks have been launched against Russia’s 30 major refineries and every single one has now been hit at least once – many of those closer to Ukraine’s borders have been hit multiple times since March.

This is probably the moment China has been looking for to lock in Russia. Putin will have to go cap in hand to Xi. China may finally expand north.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy pulled off a feat Tuesday that seemed impossible a year ago: convincing Washington that Kyiv can win the war.
Unlike Zelenskyy’s tortured Oval Office visit in February 2025, he left a meeting with President Donald Trump in high spirits. And he capped off the trip with another victory, watching the Senate overwhelmingly vote to advance new sanctions on countries that buy Russian oil.

It was a high note in a day that proved a remarkable turnabout from Zelenskyy’s previous disastrous visit. The vote — which the Ukrainian leader witnessed from the gallery inside the Senate chamber — puts Congress one step closer to achieving a top priority for Zelenskyy and is the latest signal that Kyiv’s fortunes aren’t just improving on the battlefield.
“The whole program here is to bring Putin to the negotiating table,” Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) said following a meeting with the Ukrainian president, senators and some House lawmakers. “Zelenskyy believed that Putin would think a little bit more about trying to negotiate a settlement if the sanctions were in place and actually creating more irritation and, as he put it, I believe, ‘anger’ with the war with the Russian people.”
The Ukrainian leader emphasized that the sanctions could help solidify the gains Ukraine has made in combat and force Putin into peace talks, even as he renewed his request for expanded access to key weapons systems.
It’s clear that Zelenskyy’s pitch is making an impact, and lawmakers from across the ideological spectrum seemed to endorse his strategy. And it probably doesn’t hurt that there is an emerging consensus that Ukraine might be able to defeat Russia.
“What’s marked the momentum shift is the success that they’re having on the battlefield,” said Sen. John Boozman (R-Ark.).
