They won't be without proof, was the point I was making.. That's science fiction not to be confused with science Considering the vastness of the cosmos, yes, a lot of astrophysicists would make the assumption that there's life elsewhere, the real gnosticism though is from the likes of @scolairebocht and @Tiger who say that there isn't (because Jesus <- they're too frightened to admit that part) Extra-terrestrial life existing and being visited by same certainly is a big leap. Sure, there are people (with some credentials) like this Avi Loeb chap who'll suggest spaceships in our solar system but there are cranks in every field (looking for a bit of notoriety and/or money), in chemistry and biology there's the likes of James Tour and Denis Noble.. It's scientists who are looking for those signals (SETI (international in scope) has been around for decades) so that should be quite easy First of all, anyone who doesn't believe the Earth is the shape that it is, known for millennia and which modern, rudimentary science tells us it has to be (again, your only get-out-clause is God) deserves to be mocked One of the fails of the Moon landings conspiracy theory is that it would have be on such a grand scale, not dissimilar to an Alien/UFO hoax I don't think that the scamdemic is a good eh, precedent for a Alien/UFO hoax. I mean, who were the scientists involved in that, Dr. Fauci and Ryan Tubridy? And so that just leaves climate science. However climate science is science People who are already searching for alien life, astrophysicists, astronomers etc. I mean, what's the gubbermint gonna say, yeah, we found this alien spaceship along with a bunch of alien corpses, wanna have a look? Of course, I find the premise of this whole thing ridiculous anyway, or as I think I previously put it - quasi-religious, conspiracy theory delirium "Aliens" isn't science one way or the other
