Antrim on Monday 9th June 2025. This has caused considerable outrage in Ballymena, where that community are not popular anyway, and that night a riot broke out which ultimately led to the burning out of those Roma families in that terrace in the town. Over that and subsequent nights (up to now, 13th June) this reaction has tapped into a general feeling of anger that migrant communities are taking over the town, and a feeling that the locals wish to fight against this.
