Message: <blockquote data-quote="AUL LAD" data-source="post: 115945" data-attributes="member: 406">re WW2  when you do research on your own you enter a twilight zone where none of the winners tell the truth and this of course raises your suspicions  that the whole thing is a mirage -a vast conspiracy .you have to start at the beginning and accept that what the Nazis said was generally propaganda and what the allies said was propaganda . you have to enter by the  tradesman's entrance and look around for yourself and use figures and data which are  not connected to propaganda and then join the dots .i have a fascination for this period as i have a family connection who was Jewish  and you can read on google which Nazi concentration  camps his family died in as their death certs from the camps are published on line .Thereseienstadt  Auschwitz and Treblinka  are the camps they were in and they all died of typhus.in addition as a work of reconciliation the teachers of Germany took it upon themselves to write each Jewish persons family history on line,  and also plaques were inserted in to the footpath outside the homes of dead Jewish people  this is known as the STOLPERSTEINE  movement  or stumbling stone in English. this footpath stone is higher than the rest and is meant to make you stumble upon the truth and you read the details of the person at the last address ""where they lived freely.""my uncle met Goering and all of the high ranking German prisoners at Nurenburg as he scored the highest marks in the BBC exams for speaking high and common German  and was therefore selected to go to Nurenburg to translate . i asked him were all the translators Jewish  and to be fair he replied yes.i learned a great deal from him and i thought he was mad as none of what he said was published and i had to wait until the internet to find out everything he said was true.i have  respect for  David Irving and others who by scholarship and access to German diary's and family histories attempt to avoid the propaganda of both sides and he tells the truth in general .i could not trust a  Nazi  to tell me the truth no more than bomber Harris who murdered hundreds of thousands of civilians.the love the German people had for Hitler was plain to see and there are records of visiting folk dancing groups from Austria fainting in his presence prior to the Aunchluss as they begged him to come to his homeland of Austria and save them .the German people came from hell where they were dying of starvation and suicide by the hundreds of thousands as their currency had been deliberately collapsed to rob them of any wealth they might have and their country /economy was destroyed deliberately.Hitler saved them from hell and most importantly renewed their self respect.  they loved him for it--this aspect is never spoken about .most Germans are not natural Nazis  and they had to submit to joining a CIVILIAN ARMY called the Nazi party as Hitler told them he had to wage war on communism and corruption and they had to do it with him -- not as people sitting on the fence but foot to the floor  hell for leather ending of corruption  and turbocharging the Germany economy which was achieved when they became the wealthiest country in Europe in five years from starvation  and earned the praise of Churchill when he said  to Hitler ""I HOPE IF ENGLAND SHOULD EVER FIND ITSELF IN GREAT DIFFICULTY THAT A CHAMPION  SUCH AS YOURSELF YOUR EXCELLENCY WOULD COME FORWARD TO SAVE IT .""Quoting Churchill should not be seen as hate speech -- quoting correct historical references should not be seen as hate speech  .questions have to be asked when the fleet of  German  cruise ships for ordinary workers docked in Southampton they were banned from docking again when it was discovered  ALL of the passengers were working class and  this radical new development disturbed the native working class English who wanted to know why THEY could never afford to go on a cruise --what was wrong in the English economy that prevented them from enjoying life as others were.these are the questions which should be asked about the second world war -- the economics not any discussion of the Nazi party as you will never find the truth if you do .</blockquote>
