How concerned are people with recent events in the Middle East? We now have a kind of retaliation ping pong match going on between Iran and Israel and, without been alarmist, I would just like to point out that probably in both cases you are talking about nuclear states. Israeli Nuclear weapons Israel usually officially denies it has a nuclear weapons program, but virtually the entire world believes it does, with the nuclear material manufactured at the high security Dimona nuclear plant in the desert. In developing this plant it received assistance from the French, and tested the weapons with the assistance of the old regime in South Africa. This weapons haul can be combined with a ballistic missile capability, a very modern airforce with a fleet of 5th generation F-35 fighters for example, and even a submarine fleet, all of which could deliver nuclear weapons, means that it is in fact a formidable, if unofficial, nuclear power. Iranian nuclear weapons The question of Iran and nuclear weapons is a saga in itself. It also has close allies in the Russians and the Chinese, for example it is a pretty long standing member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, a kind of Eastern NATO, with those two countries, who obviously might have supplied it with nuclear weapons. As regards its own nuclear program (of course its ostensibly only for civilian use) it has been on again and off again in response to Western sanctions and monitoring by internationally agencies. In particular a few years ago it signed an agreement to cease all such military nuclear development, in return for an easing of sanctions, but Donal Trump as President scuppered the deal, which means it might have had at least the last few years, free to develop its own nuclear weapons. Realistically Iran probably has nuclear weapons, with the development work scattered across this large and reasonably highly developed country, in a decentralised way to avoid been taken out by a single Israeli attack, which the latter are always threatening. Also it did demonstrate in its recent attack, that it has hypersonic weapons that can get through to their target, and these can be easily fitted with nuclear warheads. Dangerous Situation So while fear and alarmism are to be condemned, nearly always, I think some realism about what might happen now is not entirely unwarranted? Has it ever happened that two nuclear powers have been explicitly sending missiles or airforces across at each like this before? Surely its not impossible that it could escalate to a nuclear standoff, and would then constitute the first use of nuclear bombs in conflict since 1945. Masonic/Occult Plans What is scary about this is that it has echoes of what are reported to be Masonic plans to incite warfare like this in the Middle East. A former British army officer, then working at a high level in the City of London, reported that he accidentally attended a high up Masonic meeting in a livery company building in the City in June 2005, when such a plan was discussed. He has remained anonymous, but in 2010 he related it to Bill Ryan of the Avalon Project, and what follows then is his summary of what this whistleblower said:
