I have not noticed anything unusual
i have brought groups to wine strand cottages for many years as some schools would bring them to the gealtacht for 3 days before their oral irish and they would walk into the screwdahoor with ATTITUDE and cupla focal .
i have done over a thousand tours of slea head and one memorable night in reverse direction .
it is my favourite place on this earth and it does things to my head no where else can.
i know literally every foot of the dingle peninsula and it has the aura -- the blasket mhor i have even gone there with an alcoholic boatman and his shagged 25 year old outboard and encountered 40ft swells where you lose all sight of land every few moments and the approach to the landing area is a 80%luck 19% prayer and 1% skill .
i come alive in desolate places where the next parish is your own declan BOSTON .
when in meet yanks i say YOU LIVE IN WEST KERRY -I DONT MIND YOU CALLING IT AMERICA.

Couple face £150k bill after 14-year battle over neighbours’ ornamental squirrel

A couple face paying a £150,000 court bill after a 14-year dispute with neighbours over a fence, an ornamental squirrel and offensive songs published about them on YouTube.

Philip and Denise New ended up in a court row with Steve and Karen Gibson, who lived next door, after a disagreement about the fence between their gardens in Thundersley, Essex, in 2012.

The dispute was over a few inches of land, which escalated when the News removed a "sentimentally valuable" squirrel ornament from a post between the houses.

Mr Gibson also discovered that Mr New, a comedy songwriter, had written and published derogatory songs about him and about the dispute between the couples on YouTube.

One song, titled Neighbours, purported to offer advice on how to deal with bad neighbours and included the words:

"Throw shit at their window, shit at the door. Call him a wanker, call her a whore."
