We know the country is fucked and that there is no ballot box solution. I despair when people still act like it's 2015 by thinking Trump or Nigel farage will come on a white horse to save western civilization .

It can get a bit depressing alright, watching the Kerry nomination process was a bit like that. So many friends of mine tell me Maria Steen is ever so wonderful but how is the constitution supposed to save us? During Covid all the rights that you thought were guaranteed by that were completely abolished and the Irish legal profession, including Maria, never batted an eyelid.

Too many of us are too comfortable, too detached from our societal trajectory and too complacent.
The boiling frog story jumps to mind.
Remember 20 billion was added to the public debt to keep people going during covid.
And for all that small business were ruined.

And, Can you have an Irish revolution without big families, even families of 3 or 4 kids ? !

It's very hard to see a much needed Revolution in Ireland when we don't have the Young People to do it ? !
