Here's an interesting observation.
I remember an article years ago stating that when the German Middle classes feel the full brunt of globalisation and immigration their pretentious smug green lefty indulgences would rapidly be dispensed with.
And the industrial collapse of Germany and now VW making no bones about shuttingup shop, should be waking them up.
I put in a few searches into brave looking for that article.
Here's the interesting bit.
Try and see what you get.
90% of the hits were the German Middle classes and their support of Hitler.
Wow that's some algorithm to lay a guilt trip on the Germans 24/7/365
Oh and when you put the same search terms into Yandex. Non of the Nazi and the middle class stuff.
Go figure that out.
I've been finding this for a while now, the web is screwed and I use it a lot.

My 'favourite' is Patrick Moore, co founder of Greenpeace rather than the astronomer. A few years back he pointed out that in fact we need more CO2 in the atmosphere, not less, if we are to feed a growing population, and quite right he is to. Try look him up though and all you'll get is AI generated word salads telling us that he is basically a low down good for nothing tosser.

Just today I wanted to reference the fact that the oceans were cooling and despite using that word in the search term all I got was historical hysteria about how they were actually boiling!

It looks like the Next Irish General Election is one that none of the " Big " Parties want to win.

Fine Gael TD Rats and Fine Gael Gene Pool Rat TD's ( independents that were former Fine Gael TDs ) are jumping off the Stinking Ship = = These Rats are jumping because they know the, Shit is Going To Hit The Fan while the Stinking Ship is Sinking.

Sinn Féin have smelt The Rats and don't want to go in to Government either ! ! !

I laugh out loud but . . . it's fairly true, Just like gardaí retiring in increasing numbers - They probably don't want to be acting brutally heavy against innocent protestors and commentators with valid opinions (which gardaí also quietly share) 😶
Now we know why Robocop & Robodogs were invented.

Have a read.
More than once because there's a serious level of detail.
The next time some gobshyte is spouting on about the economy.
Consider the article below.

Reality is setting in on multiple fronts.
1. The debt has added another 320 billion in a little over a month since crossing 35t on July 26.
2. Rising prices are killing restaurants etc and that industry is cooked. Many people are tapped.
3. Real Estate has stopped rising so people can no longer borrow home equity.
4. The Ukraine War is lost and more importantly, so is the money.
5. Israel is in danger of being defeated, by itself.
6. The Democrats by a freak of events, do not have a candidate for president.
7. Nobody believes media anymore

So tomorrow sees a jobs report and meanwhile the Yen is gaining on the dollar, that is a big problem for Japan and big banks there may go bust and indeed the entire country could as well, watch the Nikkei

Consider the article below.

For Ireland, GNP is a truer number, ignoring the multinational bloating thats in our GDP.

Death of Th Suburbs:

Visit old neighborhood for the first time since 2009. 30% of the houses have been on the market for 5 years. Average age has doubled, nobody who grew up there can afford to live there. Aunt gets emotional talking about the lack of kids in the neighborhood on Halloween. House across the street is a revolving door of Indian immigrants with vehicles and garbage on the lawn. Was my hometown just unlucky, or has the upper middle class suburb died a slow painful death in the past 15 years?

the Boomers who raised their children in the suburbs were never committed to those communities the way people who grew up in small towns and city neighborhoods were. The suburb was populated by transients; the homes were never designed or intended to be handed down over the course of generations, nor, for the most part, were they. Everything from property and inheritance taxes to reverse mortgages and Boomer consumption patterns militate against the survival of the suburb in America.

Good article brilliant summary actually of the reasons for the disintegration of companies and by extension the economy.

A lot in there to digest, it takes us to the question of what exactly a company is, or should be, and in seeking an answer it appears that several big names have screwed up.

What was not mentioned though, is the reversion to corporate socialism that lack of innovation has brought about. Rather than produce products that are wanted, companies have resorted to inflicting their products upon the consumer through lobbying for legislation that favours their wares. This is the crux of the great green hoax and is as damaging to society as corporations playing pass the parcel with subsidiaries.

And not unrelated to the discussion and your points.
