Japan has an absolute gigantic government debt, about 15 trillion dollars which relative to its GDP is 3 times as large as the US. So it must not let its government bond interest rate rise above 0.25% for the 10 year. To prevent it doing so it says it will buy as many government bonds as necessary to keep the price up and the interest rate down. Of course the buying is expanding the printed yen supply and they are pissing against the wind. It has gone above 130 to the dollar and is looking to go exponential, it will be great craic to watch.</p></blockquote><p></p>
