In fairness to the TUV though they are a lot less corrupt than when it comes to old fashioned venial corruption than the DUP who are as bad in this area as a lot of Africans believe Nigerians are. People go on and on and on about the South being corrupt but the most corruption you ever found down here is a bit of minor dodgyness and nepotism. A major point is that in the past the Prods had real privilege but since the early 1990s when the UK State put in place mechanisms to undercut that has slipped away and is only likely to slip more away- so people are unlikely to fight for Loyalism now as they were in the past because they no longer have real privileges to lose, but this is also why militant Republicanism does not have the traction it once had either.
