In my observations this attitude often lies behind what can be described as "Liberal and Woke" or at least everyday support for it in the 26 counties. Of course I do not think for a moment that the likes of Helen McEntee no mind Roderic O'Gorman have this attitude to things at all. The opposite to this is the sense of looming catastrophe which is a really strong driving force among Zionists, used to be pushed quite heavily even by Alex Jones before he attempted to go mainstream and is not unknown amongst Ulster Prods.
