Is it possible that the English monarchy could become powerful again & not just a kind of equivalent of the Irish president?

I feel like, even though they are often in the press, they seem to be losing the little power that they still have.

I fear they may at some point become completely irrelevant.

This reminds me of the Japanese novelist Yukio Mishima who tried to revive the power of the Shintoist emperor of Japan.

Is it not the case that a powerful monarchy is a sign of Christianity being practised on the British Isles?

How about the view that they are in total control by means of The Privy Council. Parliament can be suspended at any time

Why do you not want the English monarchy to have power? Because you're Irish?

The English would be a lot better if the Monarchy ruled directly without a parliament at all maybe, it could hardly be worse

The monarchy hate the British every bit as much as the politicians do

Do you not think the monarchy can be reformed so that it is more concerned with practising & imposing Anglican Christianity in the British Isles?

You'd have to go a long way back before that was ever the case, no?

Plus I don't think Christian nationalism is a thing (nor would I want to live in some sort of theocracy) and I can't see Christianity making a great comeback, we live in different times. @scolairebocht posted something about a (supposed) Christian revival recently but if you actually read the article it was more about young people having gotten into goofy shit like astrology (older people still being the most religious)

There definitely is a Catholic revival going on, small in Ireland as of yet, but gathering pace elsewhere. The traditionalist revival in France and the US, and quite a big revival in Asia, such as South Korea, for example.
