They were reasonably sure it would be safe and they even measured the impact on women's bodies.  All the modern health and safety rules pressurised them to do this.     They were hoping the first woman to walk on the moon wouldcome back and join the Democratic party and become a media sensation. Remember they are eternal optimists.  See them in Ukraine,   in Afghanistan they were all positive untilreality sunk in.  They get it hard to understand some things are out of their control.   Note there is no informationfrom Artemis, no results published.  Not only radiation,  space is filled with various meteorites.   The risk from big ones is small and acceptable but I see tiny ones as falling stars on most clear nights. The ascent modules convinced me it was a fake Apollo film,   My father said that 53 years ago.</blockquote>
