It looks like the Poles are not next for the meatgrinder but the foolish Pakistanis. It is said that they sent so many of their shell to Ukraine that they only have 4 days supply if a full war breaks out

All part of the plan to drive EU citizens into poverty..........or buy fracked gas from the terrorists in Washington......

Households in the EU paid the highest prices for gas in the second half of last year since records began, official data has indicated.
According to a report on Tuesday by statistics agency Eurostat, prices rose for the first time in July-December 2024 after they had abated following the 2022 energy crisis.
Energy rates shot up to unprecedented levels in 2022 after the EU imposed sanctions against Russia over the Ukraine conflict and vowed to cut its reliance on Russian gas supply. Russia’s share in EU gas imports fell from about 40% pre-conflict to 19% by early 2025, including both pipeline deliveries and liquefied natural gas (LNG), being replaced with more expensive imports from the US.
”Average prices, including taxes, rose to €12.33 ($13.96) per 100 kWh [in the second half of 2024], up from €11.04 ($12.50)… This is the highest recorded price since data collection began in 2008,” Eurostat wrote on Tuesday, attributing the increase to raised taxes and a scaling back of alleviation measures.

There were wide disparities in household gas prices across the EU, Eurostat noted. Sweden recorded the highest figure of €18.93 ($21.43) per 100 kWh, while in terms of purchasing power, gas was the most expensive in Portugal.
Sweden's natural gas consumption accounts for approximately 2% of its total energy use, with the country mainly relying on renewable and low-carbon sources and effectively eliminating Russian imports.
Portugal primarily relies on imported LNG, with a smaller portion arriving via pipeline connections. The country gets most of its chilled gas from Nigeria (51%) and the US (about 40%). Around 4.4% of the supply came from Russia last year, compared to 15% in 2021.
The second most expensive gas in Purchasing Power Standards (PPS) terms was registered in Italy, which has minimized its imports of Russian fossil fuel. The country’s energy minister suggested in December, however, that it may resume natural gas imports from Russia if and when the Ukraine conflict is over.
The lowest price among the EU countries, both in nominal terms and PPS, was recorded in Hungary, Eurostat reported.

The country sources roughly 82% of its gas through pipeline imports from Russia, with LNG playing a supplementary role. Budapest has sought to deepen its energy ties with Moscow despite EU sanctions. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban warned earlier this year that soaring energy prices could cripple the bloc’s economy.
Russia has consistently said it remains a reliable energy supplier and has criticized Western sanctions and trade restrictions on its exports as violations of international law. Moscow has also redirected its energy exports toward “friendly” markets.

The attack on EU citizens living standards by the psychopaths in Brussels continues.
Why bother with a cheap and reliable energy source when the yanks can supply Europe with far more expensive fracked gas?

America squeezes their gonads, and it must be a very tight grip because they have very small gonads, that's if they have gonads at all ! !

And a lot of them have Cut-Off any gonads that they may have had anyway ! !

These would be Male Gonads that I am talking about !

Female Gonads are the Ovaries and the Americans would squeeze them too if they wanted to ! !

Hungary needs to start the exit process and get away from the fascists in Brussels.
The sick EU cannot go on like this.

‘Absolute insanity’ – Hungary slams EU plan to halt Russian energy imports

The European Commission has announced plans to eliminate the purchase of gas, nuclear fuel, and oil from Russia by the end of 2027

The European Commission’s plan to completely phase out Russian fuel imports violates the sovereignty of EU member states by depriving them of the right to choose their energy sources, according to Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.
Brussels has outlined plans to end the bloc’s energy reliance on Moscow by completely eliminating imports of oil, gas, and nuclear fuel in the coming years.
Hungary obtains over 80% of its gas from Russia via pipeline, with LNG playing a supplementary role. Budapest has continued to strengthen its energy ties with Moscow despite the sanctions introduced by the EU in the wake of the Ukraine conflict.
“The forced, artificially ideological-based exclusion of natural gas, crude oil, and nuclear fuel originating from Russia will lead to severe price increases in Europe, seriously harming the sovereignty of European countries, and cause major difficulties for European companies,” Szijjarto said in a video he shared on his Facebook page on Tuesday, adding that “what was announced is absolute insanity.”

“Everyone in Brussels has lost their common sense,”
the foreign minister exclaimed, emphasizing that Budapest would not allow the European Commission (EC) to violate Hungary’s sovereignty and would “uphold the right to source energy from where it reliably arrives and where it arrives at a low cost.”
Earlier in the day, the EC published a “roadmap” outlining its ambitious strategy to end reliance on Russian energy by the end of 2027. The bloc’s executive branch said it would propose legislation in June requiring all member states to draft “national plans” to terminate their imports of Russian gas, nuclear fuel, and oil.
Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico also criticized the plan, calling the proposal “economic suicide.” He added that Slovakia would push for changes in the legislative process.
Brussels announced its intention to wean EU members off Russian energy shortly after the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in February 2022. Supplies of US liquefied natural gas (LNG) have since replaced much of the cheaper pipeline gas previously delivered by Russia.
Although Russian pipeline gas supplies to the EU have plummeted, the bloc has been increasing its imports of LNG from the sanction-hit nation. Last year, Russia still accounted for around 19% of the EU’s total gas and LNG supply, according to the EC.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent agreed when asked if he considered Russian President Vladimir Putin a war criminal on May 7.

When asked, "Do you consider Vladimir Putin a war criminal?" by Democratic Representative Juan Vargas, Bessent replied, saying, "Yes."

Russia is not asking, it is telling. The US has zero leverage now.
The US is becoming more irrelevant by the day.
Trump is playing a blinder, he cost conservatives their elections in Canada and Australia.

well they did free Europe the last time, they're welcome to do so again
They freed some of it from the Nazis, but decided to take those countries over for themselves. I dont think there is much appetite in those countries to go back to pre-1989 regimes.

Americans have moved on, not a single mention of Ukraine on the Drudge Repirt for example . There will be no more meaningful money going there and we ate in a recession and getting worse.

all these mineral deals are totally meaningless because the minerals are in russian territories. It is all about trying to save face.

nobody here will be caught dead anyplace near Zellensky because nobody wants to be associated with a “loser” , he is no longer cool

Western states want Ukraine conflict to continue – EU state’s leader

Slovak PM Robert Fico has praised Moscow’s offer of talks to Kiev, saying the two should be left to make peace without interference

Many Western states want the Ukraine conflict to continue, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has said. This explains their lukewarm response to Moscow’s proposal for direct talks with Kiev, he has argued.
Earlier on Sunday, Russian President Vladimir Putin offered Ukraine the opportunity to restart negotiations to resolve the conflict next Thursday in Istanbul, Türkiye.Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that his country is prepared to host the talks. US President Donald Trump welcomed the proposal, writing on Truth Social that he expects “a BIG week upcoming.”
French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, however, said Putin’s offer is “not enough” and called for a ceasefire first.
”I am shocked that there is a proposal that on May 15, Russians and Ukrainians can meet in Istanbul for direct talks where concrete results can be obtained, and I hear statements from Germany and France that they do not agree,” Fico told a press briefing on Sunday following his visit to Moscow for Victory Day. “What do they have to do with it all? Isn’t it a matter for Ukraine to decide?”

Fico warned that the conflict will “last years more” if Kiev’s Western backers don’t stop interfering and start “respecting basic things,” including the right for Russian and Ukraine to work out a settlement one-on-one.
The prime minister went on to say that Western interference was behind the failure of the previous Russia-Ukraine peace talks in Istanbul in 2022. “Everything was ready, Ukraine was ready to sign a peace agreement, but the big boys from the West came and said no, we have to use this war to beat the Russians.”
“Many Western countries really want this war to continue,”
Fico added. He expressed hope, however, that this will change once Russia and Ukraine sit down for talks. “This is a matter of Ukraine and Russia above all. If they are interested in working, they will be working.”

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky has called Putin’s proposal a “positive sign” and said he is “ready to meet” for talks. He insisted, however, that a ceasefire should come first, suggesting that it begin on May 12.
Moscow has been wary of a prolonged pause in the fighting without a formal deal, warning it could allow Kiev to regroup and rearm. Ukraine rejected Russia’s 72-hour Victory Day ceasefire, and the Russian Defense Ministry said Ukrainian forces violated that short-term truce multiple times.

The game continues.....

Ukraine should agree to Putin’s proposal of talks ‘immediately’ – Trump

The US president, however, expressed doubts that Kiev will be able to reach a deal with Moscow

US President Donald Trump has urged Ukraine to “immediately” agree to the proposal of direct unconditional talks put forward by Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier on Sunday.
Writing on Truth Social, Trump suggested the proposed direct negotiations would, at least, help to clarify the positions of the sides of the conflict and show “whether or not a deal is possible.”
“President Putin of Russia doesn’t want to have a Cease Fire Agreement with Ukraine, but rather wants to meet on Thursday, in Turkey, to negotiate a possible end to the BLOODBATH. Ukraine should agree to this, IMMEDIATELY,”
the US leader wrote.
If it becomes clear that reaching a deal is not possible “European leaders, and the US, will know where everything stands, and can proceed accordingly,” Trump stated.
“I’m starting to doubt that Ukraine will make a deal with Putin,” he added.
Earlier in the day, the Russian president proposed that “the Kiev authorities resume the negotiations they interrupted in 2022” without any preconditions on May 15 in Istanbul. The peace settlement process must start with talks, which could ultimately yield “some kind of new truce and a new ceasefire,” Putin added.

“We are set on serious negotiations with Ukraine. Their aim is to eliminate the root causes of the conflict and to achieve a long-term lasting peace for a historical perspective,” the president stressed.
The Russian offer has been criticized by Kiev and its Western backers, who demand the talks be preceded by the establishment of at least a 30-day truce. This stance was reiterated by Vladimir Zelensky minutes after Trump made his remarks. The Ukrainian leader demanded a truce be announced on Monday.

“We await a full and lasting ceasefire, starting from tomorrow, to provide the necessary basis for diplomacy. There is no point in prolonging the killings. And I will be waiting for Putin in Türkiye on Thursday. Personally. I hope that this time the Russians will not look for excuses,” Zelensky wrote on X.
In 2022, Zelensky explicitly prohibited engaging in any negotiations with Russia as long as Putin is in power. While the ban remains in place, Zelensky has somewhat softened his position as of late, claiming it actually applied to everyone in Ukraine except himself.

I would assume there is no ceasefire today.
Next up now is the start of an actual war where Russia finally takes off the gloves

The EU do not want a ceasefire or an end to this war or any other war like the Israel/Palestine conflict.
The EU's aim is to keep people divided as they go about changing our lives completely through mass immigration and pushing 'hate speech' laws to facilitate that.
The gowls in the EU and their puppets in Ireland are waging an all out attack on the European people.
As always, just follow the money.

Dead right.
An elite detached shower of entitled incompetents who either don't understand their irrelevance to the point of naivety.
Or more likely malicious shit stirrers who don't want to acknowledge the tremendous harm they have caused so far and the very real multitude of catastrophes they are going to release on Europe.
