Helicoptering her into the EU commission was the logical next step - to finish the job.

I've no doubt Greenland is next, will be very interesting what happens with regards to Denmark... Do the EU back the Danes or the US? Ireland will be in the crosshairs also, with so many US MNCs based here.

Will Europe itself be the next target? It's noted over on the Iran thread that the US is shifting forces to Europe, but can we be sure that Iran is the real target. Suppose that he attacks, or 'polices' Greenland from European airbases, in what position does that put Europe?

Basically we will be just another American colony, or more blatantly so.

what have just been admitted by economists in the know is that this week Venezuela had made arrangements to be admitted to the Russian /Chinese payments system based on payments in yuan and gold .

An excellent summary as always BFH, and you are spot on the money with reference to the EU not having a clue as to what to do next. It was so easy when everything was painted in black and white, Zelensky good - Putin bad, end of story. But now they find themselves playing chess instead of noughts and crosses, a trickier game altogether.

He also says she was the one who brought in the US dollar as legal tender in Venezuela, because of the hyperinflation. If there are sanctions, and they have abolished usury, how come they are using the US dollar?

Some people notice a smile on Maduro's face as he is under guard. There isn't scratch on him. Obviously he didn't resist when they grabbed him.

Is it true the Venezuelans are doing a Trump dance to the tune of YMCA?

if you are smart and you have fought your enemy for years and know his every move --the only currency which the USA cannot destroy is their own .
it was a masterstroke to switch to the dollar --now your enemy has to now protect your currency .
regarding usury --the currency does not matter only the usury upon it .

Usury was also proscribed by the Catholic church during the middle ages, but 1,001 ways were found to get around it.

We have engaged the world’s leading commodity marketers and key banks to execute and provide financial support for these crude oil and crude products sales.
  • All proceeds from the sale of Venezuelan crude oil and oil products will first settle in U.S. controlled accounts at globally recognized banks to guarantee the legitimacy and integrity of the ultimate distribution of proceeds.
  • These funds will be disbursed for the benefit of the American people and the Venezuelan people at the discretion of the U.S. government. These oil sales begin immediately with the anticipated sale of approximately 30 – 50 million barrels. They will continue indefinitely.
  • The only oil transported in and out of Venezuela will be through legitimate and authorized channels consistent with U.S. law and national security.
