Eventually I will have to sit through this but to be honest I find Peterson's voice and general manner excruciating on the blood pressure, nerves, etc.

The thing is that "Laveyian Satanism" was/is basically atheism spiced up with a bit of Jungianism and a lot of Ayn Rand's spin on Social Darwinism, dressing up in daft costumes and kinky sex. So take away the sexual stuff- Jordan Peterson has to be one of the least sexy men on this planet though of course he also lacks any of the calm triumphant aura of transcendent dignity and self command of the truly chaste- and what you have is not that different at all than Jordan Peterson's position.

Zeena Schreck is a talented photographer and actually has sometimes at least the ability to come off as truly dignified (something Peterson I believe completely lacks). She is now though some sort of Buddhist.

Schreck is a legitimate Surname of German origin.

If he was interviewing Mary Smith daughter of Paul Jones.
It would not sound quiet as intriguing.
And maybe there's something in that as well

Church of Satan founder Paul Jones!

Doesn't really work.

It was not historically an uncommon name among North African Jews and you still find it used among both them and non-Jewish Berbers, her family are European Jews though. I know a Zeena- I think it is a pretty cool name. Her father was Anthony Levi but he changed his name to Anton Lavey. He also was really into collecting Hitlerite memorabilia but actually hanging out with actual Neo-Nazis. One of the arch Zionists, or maybe actually two of them, admitted over on P.ie that they collected stuff from the so-called "Third Reich" and gave elaborate explanations of why that was perfectly legitimate for them to do but not others. I doubt though these aspects will be dealt with that video.

I was making the observations that names resonate in certain situations.
Their names sound far more appropriate to this story.
IIf they are their given names.
All the more interesting..

In my experience people, even the most evil people, have a strong innate desire to see themselves as basically good, and humans have extremely good at self deception- so therefore someone adopting Satanism that calls itself Satanism suggests they are suffering from some type of depression.

Xena Warrior Princess? Strange that the names are pronounced the same. Coincidence?

Watched this. Peterson is in his strength as a therapist and let's Shrek speak. It's a good exposition of his skills as Zeena is a formidable mind that has experience in heavily influenced environments so is no mean hand at steering the conversation. Peterson is responsive to her sensitivities (her mother sacrificed her to the group for example) without being supine.

Apparently, it was a Playboy type organisation and Zeena was a sort of ardent Sea Org member. So nothing to see here other than the usual Californian excess but there are hints of more sinister practices that are kept for the DailyWire section. The broad light of daying of the witching set is only beginning to happen. Knowles has had a few with a similar past on his channel.

What do you mean by this?

Well Kenneth Anger who hung out with Lavey was open about putting curses on people, etc.

Sea Org in Scientology is supposed to be a section of the organisation where members are worked constantly and are drilled to be utterly earnest in the cause of the church. That's what came across in the conversation from Schreck about her position in The Church of Satan.

Zeena was a dutiful daughter who was devoted to her religion, although she did have to deal with many unsavoury characters. She was the public figure for them when concern was raised about satanic practices during the 1980s. There's a nothing to see here tone to her remarks which then switches towards the end.

Now, she is an operator, and sensed that Peterson was tiring so, with a view to the extra segment, introduced this curse angle when discussing her exit from the cult - bringing in the memberships for the god kingski.

Nevertheless, she is convincing as a rather muddled Californian who is intelligent, and has learned the error of the ways via Buddhism. But the formatives have left a pattern.

So, an interesting discussion overall. You have to grant that Peterson did well.

More interesting is the window it opens to the power is everything set, which in turn explains the woke explosion and the useless cunt phenomenon (No. 7) - both of which are products of several generational iterations where these norms were inculcated into society to displace the previous wisdom cultures. The triumph of sociopathic advantage seeking and negative selection practices so to speak, and you know criticising it as such will get accusations of naivety - don't you know these rules are the perfection of the rational actor!

Every epoch ends in masquarade, as some French writer remarked, but is this masquerade merely farce or something altogether more sinister. I lean towards the latter conclusion. There is such a thing as wickedness, and wicked people, that are diseased entities rather than some league of superior beings they so often fashion themselves as.

The little i know of satanism and the few i have met involved have mainly been those who have explored many odd ventures/avenues/groups and it seems when you have time to really listen to them --not just to hear the words but the context and where the emphases is -you realize there is a hierarchy of oddness /strangeness/ daftness and the more groups you belonged to and left the more cred you have .
and some people let you know the journey to this point has been painful but worth it as i have now found the source i am now at home this is me -this is now my address in life .
and because you know them you realize they have said these same words in various settings many times before -- until they left or were got rid of and they use these mad groups to BELONG as THEIR community belongs,
and they support each other and need to belong to a mad club for to cope with their mad life as they are smart enough to know daftness is expensive and it has to be funded .
the real thing is a sexual pervert and uses satanism to bring forth the opportunity to be a pervert amongst others who may have varying needs themselves and the ritual brings them and their very willing victims in proximity to sexual experience not available elsewhere .
i have never met the true satanist the person who worships evil to gratify themselves as it requires a level of intellectual competence to do so and how do you easily manifest true evil --its not so easy and remain compes mentis in order to enjoy the experience .
most of what passes for satanism is just pure gibberish .
i used to know the world high priestess of ISIS the Egyptian goddess.
-lady Olivia Robertson----- and visited Clonegal castle a number of times and you could meet anyone there from the rolling stones to various druids and of course the unwell and you then met people the same people in the oddest of settings elsewhere and you realized the TRUE community was quite small and while their beliefs would terrify the normal person and their beliefs would have had them admitted to care some short few years ago --i personally found them harmless and kind and interested in this earth in a lovely way .
sex drives a lot of what we see --people wish to clothe their perverse interests in a structure to make it somehow acceptable and to convince the gullible that ""shur thousands of people are IN THE MOVEMENT WORLDWIDE"".
this is an old story and the opportunists in all societies know there is a small percentage of gullible people who wish through loneliness and sheer stupidity wish to belong to anything which they believe will empower them and if a charlatan can convince them to engage in mad daft rites to enroll them in a society designed to rob them of their sanity and then their money --you would hear them all chorus well nobody else took an interest in me for the past 10 years --im sticking with my friends the satanists .

Well, that would be what Zeena is suggesting about the culture - but then she goes on to discuss the ritualised placing of curses which would be directed malevolence. And she mentioned it casually as a natural product of the environment and precepts she was taught growing up.

Now, I suppose, there will always be the eccentric and those with an idiosyncratic mysticism that gravitate towards such groups and become entangled in them. Schreck does say these sorts were described as rubes by her father.

Here's a couple of interviews by Michael Knowles with people who were in the scene. Both are articulate and intelligent individuals who were more deeply involved than the odd harebrain, dilettante or egotist seeking to vindicate their conceits. There's more going on than meets the eye. I was surprised by it too when I first observed it. Ultimately it's a cult of power, and you may be fine with that, but it does merit a cautious treatment and conscious study. One is not bound by its demands.

Okay Myles, to clear up any confusion, we are told to be a sign of contradiction and it is such as this we are instructed to be a contradiction to.

It may be that we are to be subjected to slights, injuries and harassments by these acolytes but they are only acting out the premonitions of their own fate. Bear their nuisances and hearken to the theme. There is hope.
