It's very overcast here this morning , hard to know what that day would do
Same here again today, the awful weather is taking its toll . . .

. . . . He named the nine events that will not go ahead this year including Indiependence and the Bandon Music Festival, both in Co Cork; Body and Soul and the Life festivals in Co Westmeath; Wild Roots in Sligo; Forever Young and the Playing Fields festivals in Co Kildare, the Far West Fest in Co Mayo; and the Bann Festival in Co Antrim.

Down in Bavaria they have had three dry years and now still want more rain. If only we could export it.

Too late, the Spanish have already exported most of theirs up north earlier this year. Germany's had its fill.

We on the other hand are stuck with the side effects of various climates, it's not just about the rain but the atmosphere that's been created 👻👻👻

How has it been?

It has been dreadful here, constant cool breezes and mostly cloudy the days long (with the odd break)
Mid summer and night temperatures down to 9C, so windy during the day that everyone is going around with jackets on, turf fires on, central heating on.
It's just not summer.🥶

So here's a little test to try where you are to determine the weather quality in midsummer☀️. . .
Stand outside now and exhale a lung full of breath into the air . . . Notice anything?

That's right - Ones condensed steam breath floating in the cold wet evening🗣️🌧️
It's forecast to go on and on all weekend again.

How's that scorcher week for summer coming along??

Been cycling these past three weeks for first time in nearly forty years, absolutely bizarre weather and skies, constant cold wind and friend came up with good description for rain - plasticky. Put my thermal vest on under jumper and jacket for spin into town there, still cold and hands perished when got home, they at full tilt now.

So to recap, there was a day & a half of blue sky and sunshine back a few days ago but since then it's heavyish cloud canopy with occasional mists/showers.
Worryingly, according to projected forecasts, the rest of the month appears to be cloudy most days with we should expect a few clear days but mostly dim and cool.
Awful stuff.
It also appears that parts of Britain are getting the Irish west coast weather which is taking them a bit by surprise and they're blogging the observations . . .

I think I have mentioned elsewhere that southern Germany had three years of drought, they now can't get enough rain to make up for it, so we must be thankful for small mercies I guess.

Ah you're tripping again🤪, enjoy the grim weather if you must.
The Germans have had enough rain and deaths from rain in the last few years.

In Germany, at least 103 people have been killed - and more than 1,000 are still unaccounted for. The victims include 12 residents of an assisted living facility for disabled people in the town of Sinzig

That's not what the Germans were saying when I was there a few weeks back.

Ah, you were probably talking to the Greens Germans who see and know nothing that doesn't suit their contrived agenda.
Fair enough that you've identified some region with drought, you did say South Germany?
Then why this? (Only askin') from just 5-6 weeks ago . . .

Meanwhile this week . . .

A firefighter passed away while trying to rescue trapped citizens and several thousand people were forced to leave their homes as heavy rain triggered flooding in southern Germany.
The 42-year-old man who passed away remained in a rescue boat carrying 4 firemens that capsized late on Saturday. His body was recovered early on Sunday, said a representative for the Bavarian town of Pfaffenbach an der Ilm, around 50 km (30 miles) north of Munich.

Germany is bracing for further heavy rainfall on Thursday, a day after storms caused widespread flooding and numerous emergency responses across several parts of Germany.

In the south-western city of Rastatt, located 90 kilometres west of Stuttgart, storms and heavy rain caused some 100 emergency responses as basements and underpasses filled with water, according to the police.

No injuries have been reported, but significant property damage is anticipated.

But sure ignoring the state of the weather is par for the sustainable energy sector, I guess you could be aligned with Greens somewhere on the corporate ladder?

Meanwhile one must ask how it is that one part of the South has a drought while the other part gets record devastating rainfall.
What do you think, you were there . And no mention of the floods at all??

The only mention of drought in Germany is for 2022, which also hit France, it was terrible, did you see it then and now?

They were far from greens.

If we had three days of glorious sunshine, lads on here would be complaining how unnatural it all is.

The weather happens, we might have worked out how to influence it on a micro level but nature will do her own thing, she's kicking out thousands of tonnes of CO2 in Iceland as we speak, good for her, we need it.

Sorry - wrong answer!:ROFLMAO: I'll try again . . . When's the summer scorcher forecast for??

CO2 doesn't give us dimming, and besides we know there's no actual notable remarkable increase in levels, bar as you mention - huge volumes of hot smelly gases blowing out of her fiery hole🥳

I dunno, why ask me?

Oh, I'm reliably told that Serbia is enjoying a heatwave as we speak.

I assumed like me that you were a keen weather enthusiast and had remembered hot summers. Something to compare with recent times?

Also, we are having a conversation!;)
I remember scalding summers and I remember pissing down with rain summers. I remember the Beast from the East and in 2010(?) a winter drought that turned fields yellow in February. Thick Fogs and thunderstorms seem to be less common but the winds are probably more frequent. Everything changes.

Yeah but, as the guy in the video above asks @ 0:08 . . . "What's really going on?"

You think there is, I am not convinced.
We're different in outlook, for example I would not agree with or "Thank God for the Weather" though many do see it like that.
I see climate engineering management at work but many cannot see it or understand it.

Nothing as queer as folk, eh?

Of course attempts are being made to alter the weather and various methods of doing so are often discussed, but the climate is different altogether. If loony scientists have convinced governments to give them billions to irradiate the sky or whatever, then that says more about the gullibility of politicians than it does scientific achievement.

Go on then, put up a few links and please do highlight the interesting part so we may understand your point of view further.

if spraying some chemical then why are the nozzles not turned off when turning for the next leg of the flight?
I suspect these unusual back n forth patterns are the dumping of remnant fluid before landing. This theory is supported by the relatively tight flight pattern
