Kevin Coyle got, I think anyway, 1090 votes in the local elections but now his vote is, in the much bigger general election electorate, 550 or thereabouts. Yes I know not everybody agrees with him and there are other candidates etc but I'm not really buying this. The other candidates got tiny votes too, Diarmuid O'Connor got about 100.

So where I stand is that I can certainly believe if these guys didn't get elected, because they have all these practical problems already described, but that minuscule vote, plus the one in Wicklow?

It's just acting.
They both know Paddy and Biddy will return them to government.
There is no opposition, a few independents will make no difference.
My prediction is thet FFG will get enough seats between them to form a government and the 'green' freaks will be back in opposition with the far left Shinners and Labour.
Looking like this was right. FFG have a good chance to get an overall majority between them now.

The people of Coolock and thereabouts do not want mass immigration, the figures from polls show mostly about 75 to 80 per cent against it. These candidates represented that policy, which is enormously popular.

In other constituencies the problem is people do not really know the nationalist candidates, but here 1000 of the electorate knew who Coyle is and now, in the vaster pool of the general election constituency, he gets 500? Did the electorate here warm to mass migration in the meantime? No they did not.

And Stephen Kerr by a handful of votes jumps above and eliminates Martina Jennings and he might catch Murrey as well

For those paying close attention, I realize now that Val is an identical twin. The clue was when he said he was the 2nd most intelligent man in Ireland . Only I figured out that his twin was the first,

I cant say im surprised, there is no nationalist movement in Ireland of note, not one that can win a General Election. It will have to get much worse and because of our low population numbers it will be far to late.

I said it before, the best thing anyone can do is batten down the hatches and ride it out!

The Low Turn-Out is interesting ~ ~ It is interesting to know what that means ? !

The low turn-out in the UK and the low vote for the Labour Party has shown that the Politicians are skate-ing on thin ice ~ ~ Things could actually turn nasty in the UK if the usual suspects in the UK ( Muslims / Blacks ) commit more atrocities ~ Which they may well do, being they head-the-balls that they are !

Another bad atrocity in the 26 Counties, could turn things nasty as well ~ ~ Whether the Politicians know it or Not they are Not nearly as secure as they think they are !

Indeed, the low turnout means either the electorate has become disillusioned with the process or they have left the country. Probably a bit of both.

Either way the actual 1st pref on all 3 min parties is down so its not really much of a mandate and is a shocking state of affairs with all the troubles we could be facing down the road.

Richard Boyd Barett was reelected. I don't mind him to be honest, he isn't the worst and does believe in his politics and is passionate about it.

Apparently ~ ~ The biggest % of Mary-Lou's excess ( after she was elected ) went to Gerry Hutch !

Hutch was definitely a Plant to Stop Malachy Steenson ~ ~ I suppose that you would have to Admire The Stroke Pulled on the Electorate in that Constituency !

At the same time ~ ~ Thinking People should have seen through it !

Be that as it may, the state of the vast majority of these so called "nationalist" candidates, and their supporters, is an order of magnitude worse.
To say that (presumably) because 6% of the electorate voted for "anti-migrant" candidates means that only 6% are concerned about immigration is mentally retarded. You and the I'm a journalism are dishonest, anti-white mental retards

waste of energy watching this shite

💯

I don’t know what folks were expecting to happen. The Irish people are most gullible and easily manipulated people on the planet.

75% of them we’re celebrating that they voted to kill Irish babies like we’d just won the World Cup. There was a literal street party.

97% of them got a dangerous experimental medical procedure (that didn’t work) so that they could sit in a cafe or a pub.

A little fluoride goes a long way in Ireland.

I think the figures from the Election have to be analysed a lot more.

Remember we are being fed the Usual Shite from the Main Stream Media Scumbags.

The extremely low turn-out alone is very interesting.

What needs to happen is the scrapping of universal suffrage democracy - where the vote of a retarded teenager living in social media land, who's never read a book, and thinks Panti Bliss is our generation's Michael Collins- is afforded the same weight as the vote of a wise, educated old gentleman with tons of life experience.

I work in a busy office, mixing with lots of different people, and I'm constantly struck by just how shockingly uneducated, uninformed and illiterate anyone under 35 is. I'm thinking of the young woman who recently asked me if Carlow is near Donegal. And she has a vote.

How can anyone possibly justify such a system where these people are entrusted with deciding who governs the country?

The electorate have proven time and again that they are incapable of dealing with the responsibility that comes with voting and being an engaged citizen.

FF the biggest Party?? A party that's bankrupt the country a million times; the party of shysters, hucksters and chancers. A Party that has as its leader a careerist who worked one week as a teacher before jumping on the gravy train.

The other main Party is lead by an autist who dropped out of university and, likewise, has never worked a proper job.

And people vote for this?

No. We have failed. Universal suffrage democracy sounds like a good idea, but it can't possibly work in a dysfunctional society like ours.
Plenty aul' fools around too...Now ancient 1968 hot young things who never grew up or learned a lesson.
We need a benign dictatorship - aka Daddy knows best, as we as an entity have proven ourselves not up to the task.

So can the establishment stop rattling on about the so called far right?

It's clear that there is no genuine far right movement in Ireland, instead we gave a genuine far left movement that is scattered amongst some small insignificant political parties.

The only way change is ever going to happen in this country is if the far left get their houses into order and merge as 1 party

Either way Ireland is fucked, at least we will always have the memories of what it used to be.

The lazy youth didn't bother their holes voting in large numbers, it's the old cunts over 65 who have returned the FFG vote.

Or one can say that Ireland has been traditionally governed by right wing conservative parties since ever, until recent times (the last 20-30 years), where now everyone gets fairer more equal treatment by civil rights.

You're just seeing less Right influence and more Left influence but don't worry - There's still plenty of The Right in control all over the country.

When the civil & human rights of others are targeted for abuse & violence by right wing extremists then it's generally considered that the action has gone 'too far' hence the Far-Right label.
There are plenty of examples . . .;)

We keeping hearing about the housing crisis and crazy cost of rent on the mainstream media, but I think the reality is, most young people up to about 35/40 yrs of age are totally content to be living with their parents nowadays.

It’s hard to argue with that.

My next door neighbours still have their 2 lads in their 30’s at home. They haven’t changed since they were teenagers.

Do these young men not have girlfriends, any plans or hopes for the future, or are they just waiting for the folks to die?
