I detest Ryanair because I find them intrinsically dishonest and manipulative. Clowns in the cockpit? Sure, you can always find the airheads but other than the policy of banging the plane into the floor I've never had an issue with the way the planes are flown.

I've always figured that it was pilots pushing the plane down through the ground effect (the cushion of air between the wings and the ground which makes the 9/11 Pentagon story laughable) which must be of some pecuniary advantage to Lowery. Maybe they can turn off the runway sooner and taxi to the ramp quicker, but that's only a guess.

I have heard that Ryan Air pilots are some of the better paid ones because the company relies on turning the planes around faster. I never worry about the pilots competence.

The descent looked far too quick to me

Even though I think you had an opposite idea, I always appreciate a pilot who makes a soft landing and I always think that they sort of lift it a bit at the end.

This broad looked like she was thinking - Yep, I'll keep on going until I go crash fucking wallop into concrete/a planet 😆

Indeed, a too rapid a descent, it appears there was no glide onto the runway and touch down. Maybe the pilot taking the video thought the same which is why he recorded it.

I read that the pilot only had her license a few weeks and was not qualified to land on her own. A DEI hire. If true - that's some lawsuit right there. Luckily no one lost their life.
