By Christian Nihilism here I do not mean varieties of Antinominianism but rather the idea that Christians should not care about politics, wider society, etc but instead should just focus on their own Sanctification. Maybe it as opposed to "Woke Christianity" is the polar opposite to Christian Nationalism?

this after 68 years on the planet i read the word sanctification and wonder what does it mean --i wont look it up --i would prefer that i hear from you--- what you think it means for the Irish .

Fasting in the week before taking Communion. Sleeping sometimes on the floor. Strengthening your will in the ways that are best suited for you. Making an effort to stop gossiping and put the other Commandments of the New Testament into practice. Reading the Bible and the Lives of the Saints, at least a portion of them, daily. Giving yourself time to be silent and alone.

I have had to re read what you have written and i have re read it now 5 times and each time it appeals to me more however i am not sure why .
i occasionally become silent but never feel alone .
Ireland today has its Z generation who have a sense of entitlement the size of a shed and possibly they would read the first 4 words of what you have written but no further -never mind try and understand your purpose .
