Compulsory viewing: Defamation, the documentary.

I watched 9 minutes last night and will hopefully watch more today on your recommendation

You'll have to trust me on this one, James. It's very, very worth it.
Okay, if you know me you know that I'm a due diligence sort

I haven't watched it, but I did skim it, i wouldn't even have replied if I didn't at least skim it

So, from the skim, I got:

There's a Jew, who wants to talk about antisemitism, there's another Jew, who's a sort of antisemitic Jew (conspiracy theorist type), finally the first Jew concludes maybe other Jews shouldn't be so obsessed with antisemitism, shouldn't channel it into hatred of the other

I mean, that's only less than a five minute skim, please stop being so elusive and tell us all what I missed :)

Essentially, what he uncovers is the process of how the Israeli state indoctrinates children to believe that antisemitism is everywhere by exposing them to traumatic holocaust footage at a young age, and teaching them that Israeli children are hated by everybody. The state of Israel fosters a culture of suspicion, grievance culture and hatred of non-jews in the young. He also exposes how the ADL helps perpetuate the illusion of widespread antisemitism for profit, and how they emotionally blackmail leaders of states and industries into funding them. Notably, the Jews working in the ADL tend to be secular, not Israeli, or not particularly religious. It really was very edifying. I have a far more grounded understanding of it all now.

Except they don't just do that to Israelis
