The woman stated that the accused, in his twenties, came from a North African country for a new job and was vetted by her and the property owner before being allowed to rent a room in the property.

What has arrived in the last 4 years seems to me to be a fifth column of assymmetrical warfarers, our deadliest enemy now in every hamlet. And the executive - even if they were on our side - is woefully understaffed and underequipped.
The awareness of this situation certainly hasn't fully sunk in everywhere yet - like it has in working class areas.
