Some prophetic messages in Marian Apparitions

Our Lady of Good Success, Mother Mariana de Jesús Torres, Quito, Ecuador 1594-1634

These messages are well known for predicting the new name of Ecuador for this country and also they contain:

21 January 1610

"...from shortly after the middle of the 20th century...As for the Sacrament of Matrimony, which symbolises the union of Christ with His Church, it will be attacked and deeply profaned.

Freemasonry, which will then be in power, will enact iniquitous laws with the aim of doing away with this Sacrament, making it easy for everyone to live in sin and encouraging the procreation of illegitimate children born without the blessing of the Church. The Catholic spirit will rapidly decay; the precious light of Faith will gradually be extinguished until there will be an almost total and general corruption of customs. Added to this will be the effects of secular education, which will be one reason for the death of priestly and religious vocations.

The Sacrament of Holy Orders will be ridiculed, oppressed, and despised, for in this Sacrament, the Church of God and even God Himself is scorned and despised since He is represented in His priests. The Devil will try to persecute the ministers of the Lord in every possible way; he will labor with cruel and subtle astuteness to deviate them from the spirit of their vocation and will corrupt many of them. These depraved priests, who will scandalise the Christian people, will make the hatred of bad Catholics and the enemies of the Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church fall upon all priests. This apparent triumph of Satan will bring enormous suffering to the good Pastors of the Church, the many good priests, and the Supreme Pastor and Vicar of Christ on earth, who, a prisoner in the Vatican, will shed secret and bitter tears in the presence of his God and Lord, beseeching light, sanctity and perfection for all the clergy of the world, of whom he is King and Father.

Further, in these unhappy times, there will be unbridled luxury which will ensnare the rest into sin and conquer innumerable frivolous souls who will be lost. Innocence will almost no longer be found in children, nor modesty in women." (1)

Any takers for the concept that it prophecies what has happened in Ireland in the late 20th century?

Our Lady of All Nations, Ida Peerdeman, Amsterdam 1945-1959

Although it has been approved at a high level, it remains somewhat controversial, particularly because of the phrase in relation to Our Lady: "Who once was Mary", and that phrase incidentally has not been approved.

"The Lady, however, really stands here as the 'Co-Redemptrix' and 'Advocate.' About this much controversy will arise. The Church, Rome, however, should not be afraid to take up the struggle. It can only make the Church stronger and more powerful. This is what I say to the theologians. Furthermore, I say to them: give this matter your serious attention. Once again the Son always chooses the humble and lowly for His work. Child I hope that you have understood this properly and can silence all objections. Now I speak to you in particular: make sure my message is spread promptly.

29 April 1951

"I stand here as the Co-redemptrix and Advocate. Everything should be concentrated on that. Repeat this after me: The new dogma will be [referred to as] the 'dogma of the Co-Redemptrix.' Notice I lay the special emphasis on 'Co '. I have said that this will arouse much controversy. Once again I tell you that the Church, 'Rome,' will carry it through and silence all objections. The Church 'Rome,' will incur opposition and overcome it. The Church, 'Rome,' will become stronger and mightier in proportion to the resistance she puts up in the struggle.
My purpose and my commission to you is none other than to urge the Church, the theologians, to wage this battle. For the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit wills to send the Lady, chosen to bear the Redeemer into this world, as Co-Redemptrix and Advocate. I have said, 'This time is Our time,' By this I mean the following: The world is caught up in degeneration and superficiality. It is at a loss. Therefore, the Father sends me to be the Advocate to implore the Holy Spirit to come. For the world is not saved by force, the world will be saved by the Spirit. It is only ideas that rule the world. Know your responsibility then, Church of Rome. Get your ideas across; bring Christ back into the world once more."(2)

Just in reference to this, on the 4th of November last, the Vatican brought out an Encyclical called Mater Populi Fidelis which flat out rejects the idea that Catholics can call Our Lady Co-Redemptrix. This is despite the fact that earlier Popes, like Pius X, had special prayers referring to this title and even granting indulgences in reference to it. Hence this Encyclical has suddenly become very controversial, its condemned by the likes of Bishop Schneider (a very influential figure in Catholic traditional circles) and even the SSPX are calling for prayers in reparation for this insult to Our Lady.


Garabandal, Mari Loli Mazon, Jacinta Gonzalez, Mari Cruz Gonzalez, Maria 'Conchita' Concepcion Gonzalez, Northern Spain 1961-1965

1961
A famous modern apparition, much patronised by Irish people, and Conchita reported in an interview in 1961 that Our Lady is reported to have said:

"When Communism comes again everything will happen.”

The author responded: “What do you mean by comes again?”

“Yes, when it newly comes again,” [Conchita] replied.

“Does that mean that Communism will go away before that?”

“I don’t know,” she said in reply, “the Blessed Virgin simply said ‘when Communism comes again’.”(3)

1979
In an August 1979 interview Jacinta replied when asked "Do you recall anything about a great tribulation, communism...?":

"Yes, it was an invasion, well, something that was a great evil in which communism played a great part, but I no longer remember which countries or what region was stricken. The Blessed Virgin insisted in telling us to pray (that it be averted). These difficult events will take place before the Warning because the Warning itself will take place when the situation will be at its worst."(4)

1982
In an 1982 interview Mari Loli was asked much the same thing and answered:

"It would look like the communists would have taken over the whole world and it would be very hard to practice the religion, for priests to say Mass or for people to open the doors of the churches."(5)

Could this be a reference to the current era, with a lot of Communism around but with a collapse of Communism having occurred in the 1990s?


Mary, Virgin and Mother Reconciler of All Peoples and Nations, Maria Esperanza Bianchini, Betania, Venezuela 1976-1991

1991
Not so well known in places like Ireland but it is quite popular in Venezuela and is slightly unusual in that this is a completely approved series of apparitions, both by the local Church and by the Vatican. It is stated that in 1991 Our Lady seems to have talked about a World War and Maria Esperanza is reported to have stated as a result of this conversation that: "it will begin here" and "the yellow races will stand up."(6)

I was always fascinated that this 400 year old prophecy predicted the global take over of governments by a secret sect called freemasonry. Before freemasonry existed in its current form.
