However, a 2017 analysis of sediments in the arctic ocean using PIP₂₅ index, an organic geochemical biomarker proxy, suggests that it is at a peak level compared to the rest of the Holocene period (the 12,000 years since the last ice age).

Again, this is not the science that climate alarmists want to talk about.

I'd love it to be true, but am cautious on these things until verified.

Interesting though that the knives are coming out for her at last. She could be on borrowed time, Europe would be a better place without her.

Even worse, the Daily Sceptic has disclosed using FOI information that 20 new sites have opened since April 2024, and of the 17 that have received CIMO classifications, a frankly incredible 64.7% started life in the Class 4 and 5 junk lane.

Loads of subsidies on stuff like wind and solar power, all going to various companies and subsidiaries that have sprung up to collect the booty, meanwhile, car manufacturers have almost got away with the biggest built in obsolescence scam going while the government gets to enjoy the thrill of authoritarianism.

That would be a start to my list anyway.

So how much of the assumed global warming is man made?

Very little according to this paper which finds that overall there is no solid evidence that CO2 levels effect global temperatures.

However, there are one or two points in it that even a layman like me might question. It assumes that global temperatures are presently rising at a higher than normal rate, but as we have seen, the data is corrupt. Secondly, it notes that coral is dying because of ocean acidification brought about by higher CO2 levels, whereas the Great Barrier Reef is still very much alive and in rude health.
