We have democracy in Europe.
Its not perfect but its preferable to all other forms of government.
Russia doesnt really do democracy, it prefers a strongman in power which is fine as far as that goes.
But Putin wants to extend Russian influence over parts of Europe and the former USSR that clearly dont want it. Theres a reason why eastern European countries advocated for, and joined NATO. Its why the CSTO is such a mess.
Even Orban didnt leave NATO, and was only too happy to take EU funding.
Leaving aside the absolute corruption and control of information in Russia, how could it be a better model than what we have now?
