We / most of us are reasonably well read and over time we have encountered famous lies which served mainly the interests of very wealthy people as the greater the lie the greater the income from it .
famous lies were the gulf of Tonkien incident where north Vietnamese were stated to have attacked USA navy ships and this sparked the Vietnam war which killed countless Vietnamese and many american drafted boys .
this was repeated again for the Iraq war and most of the 911 commissioners have now resigned in disgust at what happened in the Israeli controlled commission led by rabbi dov sakhiem .
i am entering my entry which is the oft quoted lie """ THE PEACE WHICH PASSETH ALL UNDERSTANDING"" this quotation is the stripped version of the lie by the usual suspects who---- have taken reference to god and jesus christ out of it as they worship the Antichrist and when you see how prevalent this stripped version is you realize the vast majority of mainstream media follows STYLE RULES which obliterate any and every reference to Christianity.

nothing vague or mixed up about that it states it clear as a bell .
my lie allegation is that the quotation states the peace of god passeth all understanding -
-Christ disagrees and disagrees many times and allows you to know without the fear or ignorance which is deliberately used against you,
to prevent you coming to a understanding of god within and his peace which they falsely state is beyond all understanding .
Christ meditated in the desert for 40 days and MERGED WITH GOD we are told by him when he said --
STILL YOUR MIND IN ME AND WITHOUT A DOUBT YOU WILL BE UNITED WITH ME FOREVER .
not much bullshit there about passing all understanding which is lies meant to prevent you doing what Christ says anyone can do and should do .
this is echoed in various texts around the world where people of different traditions all agree that god is within and he most definitely is not beyond understanding by the ordinary man .
IN THE STILLNESS OF YOUR MIND YOU WILL KNOW FIRST HAND YOU ARE UTTERLY NON SEPARATE FROM GOD .

When people said the peace of God which passeth all understanding I don't think they meant for people not to be able to understand.

What that quote means is that there is a peace which the intellectual mind can't make sense of. For example there have been many instances when people found themselves in a dire situation, lets say a Doctor has just told them they've got a terminal diagnosis and only have weeks to live.

In such circumstances the mind would see that as catastrophic and totally freak out. However many folk have spoken about this calm almost blissful feeling coming over them despite their very existence being threatened. They become aware that there really is no death and that only the form (the body) will dissolve but the energy / chi / spirit / soul / anam lives forever.

I believe that's what the peace of God that passeth all understanding means Sir.

Myles there is great truth in what you say .
read your own post and the very last line is the truth you seek and it is in your own words that they ""COME TO UNDERSTAND THAT THEIR SOUL THEIR SPIRIT THEIR CONSCIOUSNESS is one with god and is everlasting .
however you also tell the truth that they intellectually cant figure this out generally until a life changing experience forces them to look WITHIN for the first time in their lives and within they find the truth finally.

what was all this about says you -- it was the biggest threat the church had experienced in 1200 years .
and the viciousness tells you it was about money firstly and influence/control/ownership of the subservient laity secondly.

a ritual baptism of holy spirit and fire -- and crucially THEY BELIEVED AN ORDINARY MAN COULD KNOW GOD PERSONALLY AND THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AND ITS POPE AND STRUCTURE WERE NOT THEREFORE REQUIRED .
This understanding took hold in southern france and northern italy and the religion spread like wildfire amongst the people and crucially the nobles who recognised the utter honesty and holiness of the perfecti who depended on the public for their food each day and who were revered for their true christianity as opposed to the latin speaking madmen of the catholic church which was only concerned with stealing what ever wealth they could .
